Surprisingly empty on a weekend afternoon. Was craving for hojicha latte so popped by to give it a try. It wasn’t too sweet and texture wasn’t grainy. The other items on the menu looks good and will definitely come back to try next time!
Rating is only for mains as I did not manage to try the drinks and desserts that they are more well-known for. Was looking for a quick late lunch on a Sunday afternoon and saw that Matchaya was running a 50% off mains promotion. The place was full at 3-4pm with most people enjoying a chat over drin
Quite a good matcha dessert place to chill. Located at the corner of The Cathay, there's limited seating so do visit during off peak hours if you would like to dine in. Matcha latte is pretty good. The dessert were well made too.
Surprised by how good the yuzu matcha cake was! I’m still craving for it! Will be back for it. Paired very well with their lovely hojicha and match drink! Very decent cake and drinks 👌🏻👍🏻 Barista and staff were very friendly and nice!
Had a quick bite in late afternoon.Ordered the ceremonial tea Koicha with milk (hot) and tamago sando. The matcha was good. Was slightly confused why the tamago was served in a croissant not in milk bread..as per the old menu.Tamago filling was great but I had great difficulty in cutting up the cro
Pricey stuff but love the matcha desserts here. Slightly cheaper than hvala but a bit on the lighter matcha side. Still great though! Do get the matcha soft serve, it's our favourite! The don was alright but abit too pricey :0
Been there a few times for the food and drinks. I like the minimalist style especially the dashi stew and curry rice. The portion is not very big so it is good for small eaters. I love their sencha.
