Niche is one of those rare bakeries that produces top quality cakes that still taste homemade. Ordered a 5kg Strawberry Frasier Torte for my grandma's 80th birthday and it was so delicious, some guests even wanted a second serving! They were also kind enough to accommodate our request to decorate the cake with flowers and longevity peaches. The cake did not look gaudy at all and was perfect for the occasion. Thank you!

Quiet unassuming homely feel. Don't be deceived by its simplicity. The menu though limited, I believe will be great as the carbonara & especially the truffle fries was fantastic! The wonderful selection of cakes is spectacular. My 14-yr old, a picky eater was easily won over by its ambience & delicious food!

Decided to try their lovely cakes after passing by a couple of times! We had a lovely treat w the Mango Tango and Oreo cheesecake. As I had texted them the night before to place my order and grateful that they prepared the cake so lovingly. It was super yummy, fresh and light! Thank you once again and will be back for more!

Niche has never disappointed me. Whether it's cakes, or Nonya kueh, or cookies, they deliver the goods. This is not your average Neighbourhood cake shop, Niche's creations are on par with hotel cake shops and better than Pine Gardens in taste imho. They will tantalise your tastebuds and make you return for more. I can't decide which cake I love most because they all taste divine. They just started having pastas in the evening and both the meatball spaghetti (hugggggge meatballs packed with flavour) and Salmon Aglio olio (salmon is perfectly cooked- not over done) are also cooked with pride. Can't wait for the menu to expand. It might be located in the humble heartlands of Toa Payoh but a trip to Niche is something you won't regret. Just don't visit them on Tuesdays coz they're close... Then you'll really regret it coz you'll be missing out on a gastronomic treat!!

Order the Ondeh Ondeh Blue Ombré for my dad's birthday party. Everyone agreed that the cake is awesome. Even my fussy mum who doesn't like cake ate a big piece. Ingredients are fresh. And best of all, it's not too sweet. It's a .

Nice strawberry short bread and lemon tart. Apple tart also berry nice. Great place to laze from the afternoon sun. Niche place. Away from the city lights. A gem in toa payoh.

This place offers an upscale dining experience. I would strongly suggest anyone who walks by to walk in and try.

May not be your most delicious food around but to me, it's soul food. It's comforting because I know the people who prepare your food and coffee are all about making sure you're at home with them. So, my humble verdict is a 6/5.

Their truffle fries is nice & their cake too. Just that we went too late so most cake selections were sold out.

first visit, and impressed! very cozy and lovely place. one user described it perfectly as reminiscent of those cafes you see in bali, thailand - quaint, woody, and homely. a fresh breath from the highly modern cafes nowadays. only tried the flat white & peanut butter cake this time round. both were delicious & paired well. was afraid the cake would be abit "jelak" eaten alone but it was surprisingly not at all. very well-balanced, the peanut butter was light and airy, and the bits of rich chocolate nestled in the middle of the cake was a luxury. seated at the bar stool reading, tasting, hearing their friendliness, and just watching the neighbourhood go by - an amazing afternoon. definitely coming back to try more of the cakes & the hot foods. hope this cafe stays!!

It has been awhile since I was here so I told my bestie lets roll our butt there. 😜 Nice conversation with the staff named Wayne as well great recommendation from the owner's mum on the oneh oneh cake, I really love it! 1 is not enough so I packed the last cake back. 🤤 We will be back! 😃

First time here, absolutely loved their 'Gula Melaka Cappuccino'. One of the best best Cappuccino around for sure! Also loved their cakes, and the atmosphere was cozy and nice too! Will definitely be back to try their warm food menu. Do definitely try out this cafe!

Hidden gem in Toa Payoh for an easy lunch, amazing cakes and great coffee. Prices are reasonable for café quality cuisine and drinks.

First time purchase - it was near closing time and I was greeted audibly upon entering (although I can't see the man at the time, this is what service should be when u notice a customer walks in) - good service already! The dark chocolate tart was so good that I forgot to take a pix! I'm surprised The texture of the base was unique i.e. Compress-flake type (don't know how to describe it) - instead of the usually compressed-crumbs pastry at other bakes. Very fun and interesting to the palette and fun texture to nibble on the tongue 😂, literally... I need to try the rest of the bakes to better reflect the 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟
