I'm not a big fan of steam chicken but Five star made it really good that I was impressed with the taste and so as the presentation when it was served. Dining area looks clean. Staff are fast and efficient. If you come in a group and share assorted dishes, it makes the price more affordable.

Good service and food were served fast. Ordered our usual favourite dishes for dinner such as sweet and sour pork, you tiao, veg, prawn paste chicken and their signature toufu. Delicious meal.

Recently everyone is eating chicken rice in Singapore for fear of no nice hainanese chicken rice from June 2022, so we decided to join in the crowd and go to one of our favourite chicken rice place. Five star chicken has maintained it's standard and the rice is fragrant (and not too soft/crumbly). T

Charged 20% surcharge on CNY & staff seem very unhappy to work. Very overrated food. The food portions were small & taste awful. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Good and trusty chicken rice along Bt Timah street. Chicken portion could be more but the rice (with garlic sauce) and stir fried veg and tofu were great! 😊

5 stars for the consistent bad chicken rice all these years.It really goes thru the test of time and manages to retain the same taste - grainy Dry chicken,salty sauce and almost bland rice since I tried 15 years ago.

Not a very good experience. The food was very underwhelming and the portions were small. We ordered half a chicken and this was what we got. Wouldn't recommend
