The food is average especially the fire chicken that claimed to be their signature. Slowed cooked for 1 hour but really tasteless. Meat is so dry and tasteless suspects overcooked! The fried luncheon meat crackers were good. The Guinness draft is the highlights as the creamy foam and the freshness of the beer were good. It wasn’t expensive for the beer at 9+ per pint!

Drink prices are reasonable, food is average but portions are huge. Their punggol branch has more drink promos and better food quality.

the food is nice but expensive given the type of environment. There are many flies flying around when the food came during lunch time. That is my only complaint and the reason why i gave only a one star rating. if you dont mind the flies flying around the food is actually good.

Hope to see more japanese dishes like mentaiko pizza out, i hope the owner implement more japanese pizzas and authentic italian foods like using pecrino cheese and pork cheek instead of regualar cheese or bacon, hope to see them preserve the italian vibes in future

Indeed a place to look forward to after work! Nice rustic setting living up to the name of "Tavern". Great service and very prompt. I tried the honey glazed chicken steak, which was succulent and tasty, really great. I also like that they kept the jug cold by submerging the jug in an ice-bucket. Excellent!!

Suppose a nice brunch but we don’t enjoy it because of the hit. The food only ok to accept.

Nice open air pub, with reasonably good food, but not cheap. Not humid or hot here, even though it's open air, because inside this tavern is aircon with air curtains. Nice get together place, with recorded music not too loud.

Service is so so. Cant Speak English service staff.. but that's ok... There are some who could.
Now for the bad part, ordered a steak med rare, came unevenly medium. Rejected and came a replacement - no difference. Either the chef needs a lesson in steak preparation or he needs to be fired.
Honestly, at this price point kopitiam steaks can do much better.. didnt like it at all but didn't reject the replacement steak as it wasnt worth the hassle.
What a waste, can't get your steak right yet have the blantant pride to offfer steak doneness in bleu on the menu.
Zzzzz. Lousy. Once is enough. Maybe you guys should just stick to the spag business.

Know customer come for drinks & watch soccer match.. once customer place order..etc..the boss ask to change to chn 5... n insist customer to watch chn 5 die die dun want change nvm....he still can shout here n there so rude...finally he change to soccer chn but guess wat he ask his staff to turn off the volume n turn on others chn loud loud...but for soccer chn volume it set as mute..
Such a lousy service...rather go others place drink n watch with friend oso not so angry...

Came for their spicy Buffalo wings and we're not disappointed. Indeed spicy Buffalo wings from hell. � The French fries are really good too but couldn't finish the onion bomb cos of the portion. The staff are attentive and efficient. Although it's a open air concept, I don't find it warm here and the ambience was good too. Would definitely come back again!

We love their jalapeno poppers but they removed it from their menu. Unfortunately that means we've got to head elsewhere.. it was great while it lasted. UPDATE - they brought it back!

had dinner and drinks with my family today.
I am very, very satisfied with the great service from the waitresses, and the food is very nice.
the waitresses was all very attentive and very patient when attending to my family's requests and needs.
all in all, a great evening spent at a very nice chill out place with nice food and great service. thumbs up!

Super Poor Service.
We came and say we want watch soccer, they say have so we order beer.
But after watching 15 mins they change to channel 5 and will only on back 1 hour later.
If no soccer tell us so we would not purchase your beer and lousy service ?
We could have go elsewhere !

Poor customer service. Esp when you had just that few small tv and only 1 pathetic tv can watch Soccer and yet still got customers willing to step in and support you but your attitude is really bad! Paying a beer tower to watch Soccer on a pathetic small tv and not those big screen yet still receiving such Super bad service.

had my first try at southwest tavern today. ordered Cajun pork chop today and had a price of pork that comes with a strong taste of pork taste.
the owner came and checked personally what was wrong with my fish and explained. and he waived off the item from the menu cos I only consumed 30% of it.
kudos southwest tavern! thanks for ensuring that product quality has been taken care of when you serve customer.
definitely a place that I will recommend to friends and family. (:

Just ate here with my family today. We ordered ribeye, onion blossom, and the beer butt chicken, among others. The food is really good, especially the ribeye! I was quite impressed that the chicken (after waiting an hour) was juicy and did not taste dry.
The service was excellent. I saw the management and waitresses darting in and out to check on the whole premise, so that we never had to wait too long for service. They seem to be very attentive to details. My only gripe is that the place wasn't air-conditioned, which would not make it too pleasant to be dressed up because you would break out in sweat. Nevertheless, this restaurant is one of my Favourite and I'll be back!

Short of giving 5 stars due to the following reasons.<br/><br/>1) too noisy as it is below the train track (MRT line).<br/><br/>2) waitress kept serving the wrong table. Serving us food we didn’t order, not once, twice but thrice.<br/><br/>Other than that, the food is awesome and value for money.<br/><br/>We had the sirloin steak and pork chop. Both are nicely done.<br/><br/>I like it when restaurants serve the sauce on the side so one can really taste the meat.<br/><br/>The garden salad is heavenly. I paid for extra serving.<br/><br/>Whipped potato is also very tasty.<br/><br/>No negative comment on the food we ordered.<br/><br/>Will I return? Definitely

(3.0/5.0) Southwest Tavern is a neighbourhood beer bar at the TradeHub in Jurong East. The dimly-lit open air bar is one of the numerous bars which has sprouted in the suburbs over the past few years and perfect venue for alcoholics like me! The bar features two huge television, presumably for weekend English football and wooden furniture.<br/><br/>What impresses me is the range of beer and alcohol at the Tavern though it could be improved further to include my favourite Australian and Italian beers. <br/><br/>The friendly and extremely gorgeous beer ladies are another attraction. I find myself constantly distracted from my conversation with my mates and looking at those pretty ladies. I will probably return without my mates soon 😂😂
