Only selling German beer on tap in coffeeshop Fresh n very refreshing Fortunately there's a pretty good Western stall that serves French garlic sausage n pork cutlet that go very well with beer My beer of choice would be Dunkel - a dark coloured wheat beer... Smooth more flavourful. Surprisingly eas
Supposedly famous for its affordable pork knuckles. It is definitely crispy but also very chewy. It was so chewy that my fork bent. Sauerkraut was plain white type unlike the usual ones I get elsewhere. Mashed potatoes wasn't mashed but it was good. Chicken chop was delicious though. Nice slightly
We booked through eatigo apps and get 50% discount. Had the family platers at $19 after 50% discount which is a steal. The pork knuckle is crispy but a little too dry on the inside. The sausage are good. The chicken and pork chop are also a little too dry. But at the 50% off price it is a steal.
Really surprised to see Rich and Sinful German Food available at Toa Payoh. Family platter is their signature dish at a very affordable $38 for 1 Whole Pork Knuckle, Pork Chop, Chicken Chop and 2 German Sausages topped with Mashed Potato, Fries and Sauerkraut. Especially good is the Pork Knuckle. Th
Set lunch: half pork knuckle for $10 with soup and drink. Chose ribena soda , was great value! Achar instead of sauerkraut is interesting. Otherwise authentic German fare; they do serve 3 types of beer as well. The potato wedges were very crispy too!
I came here with a recommendation from a friend, and I was not disappointed. You get value for money meals thats very good, but being a blend between authentic German food and its locatiom at a coffeeshop in Toa Payoh, you can expect mid-range prices.
$9.90 worth the grilled chicken with sausage. Tasted very good. Chicken is well grilled and tendering.. Sausage is quite salty.. Smash potato is better than Aston. However, portion is quite small and not filling..
Huuuge pork knuckle set! The pork knuckle was a bit tough this time, but I heard it was more crisp on a previous visit. The chicken chop was normal, as were the sausages. The linguine was surprisingly good! Comes with a dollop of sauerkraut as well. Serving is sufficient for 4 pax.
