Review Kee Hiong Bak Kut Teh - Singapore

Priscilla Tan
Every soup has a different flavor even though it’s the same! The big bone soup and the dried version is the best tasting of all. Can pretty much skip the other bkt cuts. The vegetable soup version was pretty meh - just order the enoki and tau kee plate which is more flavorful. The tau kee bowl is sweet and the mee sua is ok, both not very much to my liking. Preserved vegetable was very flavorful!

$:Below S$20. Dry Bah Kut Teh was very nice and I strongly recommend to order when you come here. But some of the dishes were very different from pictures on the menu. In that point, I was disappointed. But taste was not bad. There was no queue at lunch on Sunday. No need to wait so much.

Had high expectation after seeing the stars and sought out the shop. Meat was over cooked, especially the intestines as it lacked bite and was flaky. Just saw other reviewer commented the same, so seems that’s just how their version is. Wife thought herbal flavour was weak though soup was rather thick. We were offered refill which was nice.

One of the best herbal bak kut teh i’ve eaten. Their dry one is pretty good. Try their side dishes! We ordered a few side dishes and it wasn’t expensive. We paid around $10 per pax and was pretty full after the meal. Friendly staff and this restaurant is quite famous in Malaysia.

Went for dinner after some sightseeing around Chinatown and inside the mall. It looks legit for Klang Bakuteh which pretty rare for us to find somehow. We ordered dry bakuteh as the staff suggested the most and kailan veggies for our sidedish with 2 garlic rice. The dry bakuteh was delicious, more lady finger would be nicer, but the taste was well marinated and caramelized. Kailan veggies was out of our expectation and far from the display picture that more alluring than the real one. If they can serve the same as pictures that would be even better because in reality it's totally different and sauce was diluted with water too much. We added our extra order the bakuteh soup but the taste wasn't as good as the dry one. We vote for dry bakuteh and the soup (you can top up as much as u need it).

Went for late lunch today. Customer service is good and attentive but sadly the so called original Klang BkT isn't as good as the shops in Klang Malaysia.. Taste wise isn't the same where I've tried many times years back in Klang. Chicken feet with mushrooms is slightly too sweet instead of savoury n my portion don't hv any mushrooms in it. There's no tea BkT can beat their actual original shop in Malaysia.

Malaysian style herbal soup compared to the white pepper based Singaporean style Bak Kut Teh. The dry one tastes pretty well.

Enough to satisfy cravings for klang/herbal (not peppery) type of BKT. The spare ribs soup (M1) is my favourite. Don't order the mee suah (S18) just go for the rice. I was told the Claypot chicken (M7) is good. I will try that next time.

Good food, good portion, good service. The dry bak kut teh is to die for, full of flavor that I think just the gravy with some rice will be good enough for me. Will definitely be back soon!

My son's favourite bak kut teh place. My parents-in-law n i love it too for the flavour...Will give 4stars instead of 5 cos i know they can do better n better n better... Boss just let me sample their new yam rice with dried shrimp...will release soon...i will give 5stars on my next visit again. Service is good compared to other klang style bak kut teh stalls that are available in singapore currently. *The dry bak kut teh came surprisingly tasty! Better than i expected! If the sauce can be refilliable (just trying my luck) i would be able to order two more bowls of rice to mix them with :)

Really awesome soup and the dry version is undoubtedly the best I've had in Singapore.

Must try! Authentic! Especially the dry version of the bak kut teh...aromatic & favourful! It not only excites you with the aroma, it continues to tantalise your taste buds when you chew it, and leaves an aftertaste for you to explore, wanting to take another bite to discover more. Delicious!!

说老实 肉骨茶药材汤的不错 很浓药材味 但是干的肉骨茶就没这么好吃 需要一点更改
