Kee Hiong Bak Kut Teh - Singapore - Photo album

Every soup has a different flavor even though it’s the same! The big bone soup and the dried version is the best tasting of all. Can pretty much skip the other bkt cuts. The vegetable soup version was pretty meh - just order the enoki and tau kee plate which is more flavorful. The tau kee bowl is sw
$:Below S$20. Dry Bah Kut Teh was very nice and I strongly recommend to order when you come here. But some of the dishes were very different from pictures on the menu. In that point, I was disappointed. But taste was not bad. There was no queue at lunch on Sunday. No need to wait so much.
Had high expectation after seeing the stars and sought out the shop. Meat was over cooked, especially the intestines as it lacked bite and was flaky. One of the best herbal bak kut teh i’ve eaten. Their dry one is pretty good. Try their side dishes! We ordered a few side dishes and it wasn’t expensive. We paid around $10 per pax and was pretty full after the meal. Friendly staff and this restaurant is quite famous in Malaysia.
Went for dinner after some sightseeing around Chinatown and inside the mall. It looks legit for Klang Bakuteh which pretty rare for us to find somehow. We ordered dry bakuteh as the staff suggested the most and kailan veggies for our sidedish with 2 garlic rice. The dry bakuteh was delicious, more

Malaysian style herbal soup compared to the white pepper based Singaporean style Bak Kut Teh. The dry one tastes pretty well.
Enough to satisfy cravings for klang/herbal (not peppery) type of BKT. The spare ribs soup (M1) is my favourite. Don't order the mee suah (S18) just go for the rice. I was told the Claypot chicken (M7) is good. I will try that next time.
