Look at the beautiful pieces of kidney in the dark herbal soup! Crunchy yet tender, no offal weird stench. Really good bowl of mee sua. Popular stall in this 511 Bedok Hawker Centre. Their steamed fish dishes are highly recommended too.

This brand needs no recommendation. I learned that this stall is a branch of the original one at Kembangan and I must say the flavor of the rich herbal chicken soup really warms the soul, especially on a rainy day. Ordered the mixed organ mee sua for dinner with prices starting at $4, I must say the portion, variety and taste is definitely value for money. Compared to the original stall however, somehow the flavor pales in comparison. Queue is pretty long but waiting time is rather short due to it's speed of order-taking, cooking and serving. Will be back for the steam fish and other dishes.

You can't really call it herbal, for it doesn't really bear any taste of herbs or spices. If it were, then the taste of mee sua shouldn't be able to overpower it, no?
Kidney was not bad. Some pieces a bit tougher than others, but nothing too terrible taste wise.
I guess being an old school dish, and without a new generation of hawkers continuing this dish, there is no real comparison and improvement to this dish.
Lack of competition could also cause complacency in maintaining standards, but that I wouldn't know cos I've only ever eaten at the Seng Kee stalls in the last 8 years.
Would return for my kidney fix, but only because of the difficulty (or my lack of knowledge) in finding other stalls serving this.

Used to love around here and visited this stall regularly. Back then the old man used sit at his lounge chair nearby.
Some things change, some things don't.
Mee sua, still the same comfort food. The quality is still hit and miss (more hit than miss).
The stall now opens for lunch too, the menu is a much reduced version of what it was.

Long queue during dinner time but quite fast to get a table because they have many shops. Mee sua is tasty and deep fried bihun is not bad too. The mee sua soup is not thick and tasted like herbs soup, which I like it. You can also order dishes serve with rice if you don’t want to eat noodles. A variety of seafood and side dishes too. Can order more if come with big crowd, can try many dishes.

Rich herbal soup, esp good if it's a chilled day.
Kinda remind me of those rich kambing soups
😋
Compared to the one in changi, this outlet taste much richer. Changi outlet kinda diluted.
We also like the friendly n humorous auntie who is serving us 😉

Quite inconsistent. On good days is like 4 stars but on bad days when they got ur order wrong is like 3 stars. Ordered shou rou with liver but only got shou rou. Mee sua not cooked to perfection, made the broth starchy. Broth taste watered down. Anyways it is still better than the main branch.

I usually dislike mee sua for the slimy and gooey texture, but this stall is different. The mee sua is smooth and soft, easily slides into the throat. I also usually stay away from kidney, but the kidney slices here do not have the infamous funky smell. The herbal soup is flavourful and tasty. Together with the pork innards and meat slices, this makes a very comforting meal.
