Food 2/5
Service 2/5
Price 1/5
Overall 2/5
Noodles felt starchy and mildly sticky. It was not soft nor chewy. The fish ball was also soft and jelly-like. It was not tender and bouncy.
Had to wait around 5-10 minutes for the noodles when I visited at 11pm on a Thursday night. The place was not busy.
Cost of $5.50 for a bowl of fish ball noodle here does not reflect it's quality. Definitely over priced. Any fish ball noodle stall in a random market can very likely make a better bowl of noodles.
Used to frequent here before circuit breaker. Standard dropped drastically since then. Will suggest to skip this place.

Taste: 0/5
Service: Aunty was rude. Keep insisting that the noodle indicated which is spicy which is with tomato only. End up, there was no indication.
Did a takeaway 5 bowls on the 24th January evening.
Worst bowl of fishball noodle I have ever eaten from this stall
1. Mee was overcooked
2. Seasoning was way off
3. NO FISH DUMPLING and no decency to inform
4. Fishball was way smaller than usual, and I suspect it's buy off shelf fishball
5. Receipt wasn't even visible (claim purposes, got told off by boss for buying such awful tasting noodles)
To sum up, it's a rip off. Not sure if their poor business was due to their method of doing business.
Not honest in doing business. Would never visit again.

Walking around the estate and found this shop. Order the mince meat noodle, at $5.50. Quite ex but the fish balls are really good.

Need to get this store's rating up again because it is actually really really good!! Fishballs were QQ, the chili was shiok, and the noodles were perfect

Dumplings were good. Fishball good texture but tasted bland. Overall average.

I love this place. Clean and not crowded. It serves one of the best fishball and dumplings. And I think the guy who takes order and collects money is the boss (Simon). He's polite and soft spoken. Always my go to place for a hot bowl of comfort fishball noodles

The texture and the taste of the fishball are good. I ordered the small size ($5). The portion is good for small eater.

Food quality has dropped over the years. Wait for food is ridiculously long even during off peak hours.

If you want the previous taste you won't find it. How can one expect it to taste exactly the same anyway? Die die want the old flavor? Ask for more chillie and less vinegar and you wont be too far off. If you want a good and different from your regular kopitiam fishball noodle this is the place!

Would have given 0 or 0.5 stars if there was an option. Like what some have mentioned earlier, apart from the stall being in the same location, and probably the same utensils, tables and chairs, nothing else is the same. The mee pok, a noodle staple could not have been more overcooked, a lumpy starchy mess. The fish dumpling felt like salty chewing gum with some meat in it, and the meat ball was probably left over from last week. The only saving grace was the fishball, which was probably the most similar thing to what Song Kee used to be. It strives to be the finest... example of how you can really screw up a dish of fishball noodles

I had to try after hearing raving reviews. Those people must have retarded taste buds. Bowl is very big but the noodles is lesser than those $3 ones. Not crazy about the machine made fishballs. Chewing the fish dumpling is like chewing on latex. Chilli is not fragrant, not even spicy. Just sweet. Not coming back. Definitely not worth the wait and the price tag.

Noodles aren't that fantastic, the fish dumpling really doesn't taste the same. it's not worth the wait, and I presume many others came back the first time after they reopened, hoping that it'd be the same as before. the 1h wait isn't really worth your time.

Ordered a medium sized noodle and surprised by the costly price of $6.00!
Very small portion which look like a typically $2.50 size?
When asked the counter why so small? She agreed with me and say its very expensive!!
Cant tell any difference in portion from small ($4) and medium ($6) one.
Portion don't justify the amount paid! Probably can eat 2-3 bowls of it elsewhere.

Soggy noodle and slow service. The fish dumplings were the worst I have tasted. Its rubbery & slimy. Charging $4 for 5 pieces of rubber is totally not worth it. You can get a better & nicer portion of fish dumplings at anywhere else. First visit and never again.

It was disappointing meal at Finest Song Kee. The fishball soup was served without any vegetables or other ingredients. Just pure soup and fishballs. Definitely not value for money!

Still got room for improvement. Given that its newly opened, give them ample time to get used to place and operations. The food is fresh. Perhaps the workmanship on the cooking and taste can do more good.

I didn't like it as the chilli is not even spicy abit. The 鱼胶 is worst, meat ball is not good. Fishball is little bit ok nia.. waiting time is short as not much customers.. self service de..

Despite having a different tasting sauce from the previous Song Kee, I find the new sauce refreshing with the addition of vinegar. Ingredients used are tasty and the new addition of meatball in the noodles is excellent. Store is still new I believe the taste will continue to improve. Keep it up!

I actually quite liked the chilli sauce for the noodles even after they changed hands. But today was ridiculous. A bowl of fish dumpling with 4 dumplings at 4 dollars. The noodles weren't cooked properly. I mean if you are just trying to reduce your already dwindling customers then way to go.

Went down to try the reopened songkee, everything taste different, service at the counter is bad. The only thing look like the old songkee is the tables and chairs. Very disappointed with what I had experienced. Read some reviews and they keep saying they do not wanna replica the previous songkee and wanna create their own unique taste, than why kept their name at the 1st place. I think most of us still miss the own songkee fish dumping taste. Finest songkee fish dumping is no where there...

I tried it when they first opened, and was quite disappointed when i realise they didn't measure up to the previous store. However, i went there again today to try it out and realised they have improved by leaps and bounds since my previous visit. Would gladly go back again for my supper fix!
