Yummy Korean bbq restaurant. Good quality of beef. Side dishes are refillable upon request. I like their flying fish roe with rice. You mix all the ingredients into a ball shape to eat.

The soft tofu soup and seafood pancake were exceptional. The kbbq pork and beef meats were less good. Everything tasted a bit bland. The music was blaring way too loud to have a proper conversation. The staff were quite rude as well. They don't take reservations

Decided to go there because it was highly recommended by friends. Food : 9/10, very delish and high quality. Came with a good amount of sides and filled us up! Rice balls and soybean paste soup is a must try!! Service : 6/10 not friendly but cooked the food for us so meh. Overall: would not return. The choices at superstar k was better.

Patronised then on few occasions. Whenever craving for Korean BBQ, this place is always my go to place. Staff are friendly and food are good as always. They are open till late as well. After indulging the food, keep some space for the melon or banana ice cream. Always crowded recommend to have reservation. Be prepared to wait during peak hours. Thank you

Was deliberating on which Korean restaurant to eat at along the Tanjong Pagar stretch of shophouses and decided to give this a try since I was in the mood for jjajangmyeon. For a start, this place seemed to be quite popular since it was still almost full house when I arrived close to 2pm. That coupled with the loud blast of Korean music in the background as well as the staff having to raise their voices amid this din and the chatter of customers, you probably need to be prepared for this noise level especially if you are the type like me who wants to enjoy a meal in peace and quietness. There were actually 7 banchan dishes which were served but I told the staff to take back 3 since I don't eat those - egg roll, anchovies and garlic stems. As for the other banchan, the potato salad had too much of the egg flavour (it looks more yellow than the normal white colour), the noodle-like dish was somewhat overcooked and had a mushy texture while the kimchi was a tad too salty (based on my standard). Coming to the jjajangmyeon, I liked the sauce which was on the sweet side thanks to the generous amount of onions within. However, the pork pieces were probably too finely cut so I couldn't really taste the texture. The noodles were also softer than what I usually like although this also meant that it was easier to mix the noodles well with the sauce. As for the jeyuk bokkeum, I was a bit surprised to see the small portion size with respect to the price but it's definitely good enough for one. Just that I think the cut of the meat used for this seemed to be quite lean so the meat was slightly tough to chew as compared to cuts which have a bit of fat in it. Or it could be that the meat was overcooked so it became quite tough. Since Obba has three restaurants along the same stretch and that this place's focus seems to be more on the BBQ, maybe I should try the BBQ next time to see if the food standard might be better.

I love their side dishes! Wide variety, tasty and refillable! Their kimchi tasted good too. Had a set with beef brisket for 3 of us and we had the cold noodle at the end of the meal too. The meat was prepared by the staff and it was fresh and meaty. The meat quality was good, I can see that. Have to queue a while as they do not accept reservation. We arrived at a sat 5:30, just queue for around 10 mins . It’s acceptable. They didn’t have the rice drink that I like. Other than that, everything was good.

Small but cozy set up. Serve delicious Korean BBQ. Staff will prepare and grill the meat for you. Meats are fresh and well marinated. Specialty: grill pork skin and pork meat.

Open at 11.30, we were quite surprise to see quite a queue already on 11.15. We ordered Set A with tofu soup and wagyu set. The ban chan is okay, but i think kimchi are too fermented. Tofu soup and steamed egg really good. And here come the meat, all are excellent. The dipping sauce of chili paste and broth sauce with wasabi taste are also excellent. Very recommended bbq korean restaurant.
