Great food. Very authentic tonkatsu don - one of the best I’ve had in Singapore. They moved from Takashimaya basement to the first floor of Millenia Walk! Hope more people can support them :) I don’t think many people know that they shifted! (#01-88/89 at Millenia Walk)

Best service staff for a small food outlet. They will tell you which sauce to use for the type of meat or vege & they are friendly, polite. The pork loin and tempura prawn quite large and crispy and tasty.

This is easily one of the better katsu places in downtown. The portion are big, the pork katsu is tender, the ebi is bigger than usual and it's not because of the panko and the fish is very good too. I ordered a separate curry side which is totally worth it. Give it a try when you are at Takashimaya B2.

What a quaint little gem tucked away in Takashimaya's basement! Service was prompt and taste was good - I wouldn't go as far as to say it was as good as certain classic heavyweights in the Tonkatsu scene here (think Saboten, Tonkichi) but it was comfort food served with a heart. Very delicious indeed! Go for the Rosu Katsu - classics will never disappoint.

Christmas brunch at this eatery. From cashier, server and chef, all were very friendly. We ordered sandwich set and fried pork lunch set. The chef recommended us another sauce to eat with the veggies. It was a good choice. Server was attentive, making sure our water was filled constantly. I liked their working attitude. Kudos to them. Keep it up.

I've been eating their katsu sandwich for about 20 years since I was in primary school. The price has barely increased over all these years and the taste has remained consistently amazing. The pork katsu and veggies in the sandwich are crunchy, fresh and full of flavour. The breading of the pork katsu doesn't become soggy even after keeping refrigerated overnight, and tastes good even when eaten cold. The most legit katsu sandwich found locally for an unbeatable price.
Unfortunately, I have been trying to buy some in the past few months, but it was always sold out when I went. Yesterday I have discovered that they've closed down and I am devastated. I sincerely hope they reopen one day.

Service was bad, waited for a table for a good 15 mins though the place wasn't crowded with some empty tables
None of the staff bother to come up to offer assistance. Extremely disappointing thus left for another cafe.

Disgraceful service. Charged $32.96 for two cups of tea and a water. Bullied by staff to pay who then refused to advise who was in charge.

The burgers were awesome although really on the pricey side. Serving was sizeable and staff were on the ball to cater to the needs of the customers

The server is not educated with their product. They do not even know what type of roast was their coffee bean. They do not even know the proper way to brew the tea. Disappointed. It was a decent gyukuro but the boiling hot water “burnt” the tea leaf. Gyukuro also know as the morning dew, should be brew at a warm temperature at 50degC and steep the leaf for a while. This allow the delicate flavour of the leaf infusion into the water, which give a little savoury note.

If you like Japanese style cakes and burgers, Patties & Wiches is the place to go!

Ordered two Cuppucinos. They tasted funny so we asked what type of milk was used. The server was unable to answer and the supervisor came. He told us that they use UHT milk and no one has complained. Sigh.... what type of response is that. Is it acceptable to use UHT milk for a cappucino? Why is it ok when no one complains .. poor attitude.

Went here today with hubby & my 2 year old boy. Menu looks tempting so we decided to try. After about 25 minutes of waiting, we follow up our food as my boy is getting restless & bored. As it turn out, our order did not reach the kitchen so we are actually waiting for nothing. For some reason the server who took our order did not key-in our order in the system. Very disappointed. We cancelled our order in the end & left.
