My wife and I went on a Friday evening for dinner. By 7ish, it was quite crowded and there were three groups of guests waiting in the queue in front of us. We waited for about 20 mins for a table and the queue grew longer behind us. As we waited, several people in the queue left to find another restaurant. The manager offered us seats at the counter but we preferred a table instead. She (the manager) is very observant and professional, and took our order while we waited in the queue so that the food would arrive quickly. She gave us a fairly large table in a quiet corner for the two of us. The staff were mostly friendly and service-orientated, except for one who seemed unhappy with us for requesting an additional plate of wasabi. The food was flavourful, value for money. Kudos to the manager - wished I had taken down her name. Would have given 5 stars if not for the attitude of the server. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience. Would go back again and hope to give 5 stars the next time.
Had a great meal here. Tried for the first time Natto with cold soba. Was quite skeptical at first. But then it wasn't that bad after watch Talking Point. The salmon sushi with cheese sizzling on the dancing flame was very amusing. Taste was so good. Overall a happy meal.
To be honest, food standards have dropped drastically. Portions are smaller, food quality is average. But for the price you pay, it’s okay. It’s a place I used to visit often as a teenager so it holds special memories. I hope things improve.
The food at this outlet is better than other ichiban outlets I feel which is good . However seems like the kitchen is a bit down on staff the day I went and food took a long time to come
I saw 5-6 tables waiting for food for over 20min
But still overall for the food and quality it is good value for money. Around 20$ for a full set and it is a lot of food

Good food as usual. Service by the Staffs were very good. Especially a Male staff in white shirt. A customer was unreasonably rude to him but he kept his cool and inform the customer to collect his order from the Cashier as he is taking care of the Dine-In line. The cashier staff was also very calm and she promptly pass the self collect order to the customer who still said very nasty comments towards the Male staff. But the Male Staff did not react to the customer and continue with his work. Very professional staffs at the outlet.
Came on a sunday evening, not too overly crowded. Food was served pretty quickly and service was ok too. Their green tea are refillable and the staff does it automatically rather than having to call for it, hence thumbs up for that!
Staff were generally friendly and helpful too. Food tasted average and decent portion. Just find it a tad expensive as we paid $44 for these 2 main + 2 green tea, and there were only about 4-5 pieces of fish/sashimi in the entire dish. But i guess we are paying for the quality since the fish are quite fresh.
Pleasant experience in all!
Had a good lunch on the 1st day of 2022. We are lucky to be served by Doris who is a very cheerful and attentive lady.
Service here was excellent, food was not too bad, presentation was also good. Last order here is 9.15pm, they close at 10pm.
