It houses difference stores that sell western, Thai, local delight like hokkien noodles. Ordered the spicy chicken burger which very spicy, I like spicy food. The portion is near to twice the size of Mac big Mac burger. The price is $14.

Quite a nice place to chill with a cold pint and do some people watching. Plenty of beer grub and cheap eats. Bar prices are really affordable too. Only gribe is it can get really crowded. Oh that and no parking.

Good variety of food to choose from. Cosy place and polite staff. Huge selections of crafted beers and wines. Parking spaces available at I12.

The spicy drunken Thai noodles were great and a dark German beer to cool them off! Sidewalk cafe and people watching on the corner of Joo Chiat/East Coast Rd.

Was at Alibabar's last night, was rainy but felt cozy. Ordered koftas from Pete's grill. Would recommend to have the chicken, then beef and lastly lamb, because the intensity of the taste increases with each meat. The hummus is a must have. The draft beers were not bad and they have a great selection of Belgium bottles. Overall had a great time 👍

Great place for food and drinks. The drinks are reasonable priced and in terms of food there is Lebanese, Thai, burgers and more...

Very toight coffeeshop, very crowded. Hard to navigate, demands very nimble legs and feet, ESPECIALLY if you're sitting outside. The rain shelter ramp will obstruct the tall fellas from sitting outside, sorry if you are one.
But the food makes up for it. The Hokkien Mee stall is very generous with their roasted pork for an $8 platter. The drinks are surprisingly similar to that of what you would find at your neighbourhood (provided you not living in Katong ah).

Been here a few times. Chill out location, affordable wine & dine, chilling out to local flare like Hokkien fried noddles & Turkish meat platter, affordable wine or beer. This place have a lively atmosphere which I admire most. Cheers.

Alibabar as a whole is nice place to hang out and for their selection of ciders and beers. I give them a 4.5 star.
However, the Burger Bar I give a 1 or even 1/2 start. This stall in the back servers who are just pretentious and rude!! While I do like other aspects of this group of food outlets, this particular stall should be run off as they are inconsistent with the other vendors. I got not only the slowest service, but got the wrong items, and not correctly cooked (aka raw food)....a sausage!! They addressed this item by frying it in the deep-fryer of all things, then used the microwave to get the raw meat. They were Insulting and rude when confronted with this situation. I advise you go to other stalls of this group, or elsewhere in the neighborhood. These Burger Bar people were observed telling other customers, "take it or leave it..." and "you cannot have the dish in any way changed, go away!" Imagine not allowing a substitution, (eg. remove the french fries and toast, and substitute with one egg). I was willing to pay a little extra and was NOT expecting a discount.
Enjoy the neighboring outlets - avoid the Burger Bar in the back corner! Disappointing undercooked food. Pathetic service. They just need to close up and leave!

Was very disappointed that the home-brewed ice lemon tea (grande size 16oz) as stated in the menu came in a 0.3L glass. I thought the server had given us the wrong glass. But it turns out that it was the correct size glass and the small 12oz actually is an even smaller glass as highlighted by the staff there. The explanation that the supplier had supplied wrong size glasses is bullocks as 16oz is equivalent to 1 pint. And a bar would definitely have 1 pint glasses. This is pure false advertising and cheating. Pity, because the ice lemon tea is actually really good.

Was there two nights ago. It started out good. Nice place. Nice range of beers. Pretty good prices. But customer serviced ruined it for me. When the waiter gave me the bill, they charged me an extra beer which I did not order. I told the waiter to revise it. He didn't quite believe us. Despite my friends and I explaining to him, he went to the bar to check with his colleague. It's probably SOP and I totally understand that. But he came back telling me that his colleague said otherwise, so it's 50/50. I don't think it's a good thing to tell your customer that. It seems like the waiter is calling me a liar. Plus, the waiters should keep tabs on the orders instead of the customers. We are there to enjoy a few drinks and have a good night. It's a nice place to hang, but after that incident, it left a bitter after taste for me.

Just had delicious mee pok from the Yong Huat stall here. Really yummy- “accidentally” ate a couple of pieces of the super-fragrant fried lard - heavenly! The apple and celery juice from the drinks stall was very nice.

I always enjoy time here.... food is good and the staff are very friendly

I will give zero star!! Total rude and no manners staff from “Kebas & more”.

Absolutely horrible dining experience. Abysmal food at relatively high prices coupled with very slow, inefficient and inexperienced staff made my lunch an unforgettably bad one.
If you have lots of spare cash that you feel like wasting, I highly recommend Alibabar.

I will be back!!

Not a bad little place, worst Kopi in Katong, but the burgers are good, haven't tried the local food and the bar is very popular with us Ang Mho chaps. Needless to say, being Singapore, the service is awful. Not bad.

Great spot, good prices. Nice selection of beers in the evening(or during the day). There's a new stall that opened serving fantastic kebabs. If you read the reviews, ignore Wilson Tan, guy sounds like a racist Momma's boy.

Don't order the St Peters Cream Ale - it's as flat as a pancake, even though the staff insist it's always like that. A quick google image search revealed its supposed to have a dark foamy head
