The food & service here is actually quite good & above average. Prices slightly steep for a non aircon restaurant. Our total bill was $91, no drinks ordered.
Although near the sea but not all tables have good views.
It would have been 4.5 stars had they not charged additional 10% cos it’s New Year’s Day!!! Seriously???
Customers & patrons supported your place during difficult times & now you repay by charging additional 10% on the total bill cos it’s a public holiday?
Yes we were told of the 10% before we were seated, but still it’s daylight robbery.
Last visit for us….. Rather support other eateries. Sorry Georges @ The Cove, you don’t deserve our support. “Good Luck”

Despite a hot morning, the place was well cooled with sufficient fan and ventilation. Cold ice water was offered the moment we sat down. Food were decent and reasonably priced. I like it that we were able to place our bikes and cart around the perimeter within our sights. I'm also very impressed with the cleanliness of their toilet. Would love to come back again and probably on an evening with the sea view.

First time travelling all the way from the west for brunch here with my family, and it did not disappoint. A well located bistro by the beach amidst lots of coconut trees. Wonderful seaview and very windy too even at 12pm. The food and service were great. Highly recommend the truffle mushroom pasta and chicken wings!

Really nice place with decent food to relax and chill. Reservations only if less than 60% is booked else walk-ins. Location is right on the beach, 5min from the car park. Lamb shank was good. Ribs were so so. Chilli was decent and so were onion rings. Drinks were reasonably priced.

We spent our evening at this nice place, if you are not dog friendly then you should avoid this place, as this place is cat and dog friendly. The service is good, only one thing that even in the middle of your meal if you had to order something, the staff doesn't take orders, you have to do that all again through the scanned menu.
Overall the food was good, cocktails were nice and refreshing, view is great!!

Nice cozy place to eat and chill out after a walk at the beach. Food here is reasonable and taste okay. It’s dog friendly too though not many aware of it, bring your little one along!

Great place for nice food and chill by the sea with the gushing winds! The food we ordered were for 2 adults and 2 kids below 6yrs of age. We will always come once in a while as our orders will normally billed up to 100+. See the photos... Choose your orders! 😋👍

Good location with a good view of the sea, but UNDERWHELMING food. Wings were barely seasoned and the steak was overcooked to a well done when we asked for medium rare. The worst was the burger as the patty hardly have any flavor to it. The only good tasting food was the beer battered fish and chips but i found the size of the fish to be a little too petite. Best to just come here for a drink and enjoy the view.

Lousy service, waiting staff messed up multiple orders, extremely Long waiting time.
If there is a shortage of staff, number of tables should be reduced instead of making people wait.
Waste of time + average food + lousy service = Me never trying or recommending this place to anyone again.
(2nd visit. 1st made me come back again. This one just made me make up mind the other way)

Was there on Sunday 11/2/18 with my family for the first time. Nice service from the staff especially the Filipino lady whom I really have to apologize for forgetting her name. They were fun and alert. Food was ok and we really enjoyed and will definitely come back and also tell more of our friends about the great experience we had.

Really had to comment on this. It was quite packed on a Sunday evening, food orders came surprisingly fast but was cold and soggy! Dont think they were freshly cooked then served? Didnt expect this type of food standard! Quite disappointing.

I have been a long time patron of George's. My last experience was somewhat marred by one of the service staff. I was told at 2330 by the service staff that George's would be closing soon at 12 midnight. I replied politely that we would try our best to finish the remainder of our beer tower by closing time. At 2345, the same service staff now told us that they had to clear our tower and mugs. I politely told her that we would be able to finish our beer by 12 mid nite closing time but she was adamant that the closing time did not mean that. Instead she went on to explain that everything have to be washed and cleaned by closing time. In the past, the staff was kind enough to give us plastic cups if they cleared our table before closing time. Please kindly clarify if my understanding of closing time is wrong.
