Order several dishes and come quite fast. Food tasted nice and delicious, olive fried rice was on point with each rice fry to perfection. Kai lan aslo tasted with unami rich in flavor. Can order via QR code if paying by credit card or thru staff if paying cash. Overall ok experience for a vegetarian alternative.
Affordable vegetarian restaurant with delicious varieties of 煮炒 (zi char) dishes. Easily accessible via MRT (Beauty world station). Can be quite crowded during peak hours.
Great vegan/vegetarian restaurant that is easily accessible by the Downtown MRT line. At the time we went, we couldn't make reservations ahead so we had to line up. It's a popular spot so you will have to line up but only for 10-15 mins before getting a table as there are lot of seating area and the staff does a good job of getting the tables set up quickly.
The food was pretty good especially the satay. We were a bit disappointed though as the number of dishes that were vegan or could be veganized were limited. Partly because in some of the dishes, they use coconut milk but then also add regular milk to it. Since the dishes are pre-prepared to a certain extent, they cannot remove the regular milk either.
Tried D'life for the first time with my family and we really loved it! The yam ring and the thai fish cake were amazing. The olive fried rice and sambal petai fried rice were tasty and flavourful plus it was not too salty. We ordered many dishes and even had a drink per person the total bill was ~$70. Will definitely come back!
(Tho I would not recommend to order the claypot ee mian as it was one of the more 'average' tasting dish on their menu)
Easy 5 stars for the dish I tried - Egg ginger noodle/vermicelli soup. Here's why:
Portion? Massive. Confirm full.
Flavour? Solid. The ginger packs a punch but isn't overpowering as you continue drinking.
Price? Good. Considering its aircon and a restaurant style setting.
Overall, the simple ingredients used like the egg and veggies really shine through in this dish. Simple, comforting, yet flavourful. Do note if you want the mee sua option, need to top up an additional dollar.
Place is clean and staff is attentive. Parking at opposite side on surface Carpark. Menu is very comprehensive as compared to other vegetarian places. Nasi Lemak was excellent. The fried “ikan bilis” were tasty. Rice was fragrant. “Sambal” chill was really good. Satay bee hoon was good as well but could be more fragrant. Fried spring rolls were excellent, highly recommended. Definitely a place to go if you want to try vegetarian options.
Very yummy! my all time favorite nasi lemak and egg ginger soup
