Its while I visited the restaurant long time. This time I packed the chicken rice for $6.00. The rice and chicken are excellent as before. The red chilli are good too. The rice are pretty good quantity. The the soup did not included or I did not forget about it. The service are happy and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The services were promptly served.

Chili - Definitely the highlight of the visit, sweet and not too spicy. Goes very well with the rice.
Soup - A little salty
Overall its a place you can eat at if you passby but not a place you would specifically visit just for the food

The steamed chicken taste really good! The texture is just right! Though the roasted one is a little on the salty side. The service staffs are friendly and helpful, overall a very pleasant experience😋

Dinner @8+ on a Saturday, relatively crowded but there were available seats. Extensive menu, halal with Chinese styled zichar dishes. Everything was flavourful except the sambal prawn, which tasted a little mild in comparison. Friendly staffs & prompt services. 👍🏻 Food was served quickly too despite the crowds.

Me and my family had been patronising the Restaurant way back at Mackenzie Road. The taste of food had lack of taste. I brought my daughter who came from Australia She had tasted the food as a little girl. She said the chilli sauce those days were excellent in taste.

I walked in yesterday for dinner. Dinner crowd was as usual quite a fair bit. Wanted to sit at a bigger table, with my hubby as we always order big but the rude attitude of the server had spoilt our appetite. Please "educate" your staff to have communication skills. I patronized your restaurant more than 20 years already. Last evening experience had made me not wanting to go your restaurant again. My money not good enough for your organization, it seems. That attitude your staff showed me.

Had dinner with the family here and it was mostly good. The beef with ginger & onions, mixed vegetables and broccoli were delicious, but not what we had hoped to order. The problem was that they were out of a lot of things, (eg: baby kailan, sprouts, Kang Kong)and we weren’t eating at a particularly late hour (7:30pm.) The service was a bit slow too so, all in all, my impression was not of a well-established place but a somewhat disorganized set up. If you’re planning on visiting, perhaps pick an earlier hour, at least on the weekend.

I was there on 30 Apr 2022, I ordered chicken rice and requested for thighs. He mentioned only 1 packet could have chicken thigh, and the rest they will give random parts..
The way he rejected us was rude, no apology! I Then asked how many chicken thigh can I have? He walks towards the kitchen and comes back saying " No thighs left" stupid answer! I could physically see chickens hanging there!

i grew up with this place, i remembered my dad used to always bring us here most of the weekend. every single time i love it. Today i brought my wife and kid, the chicken rice i ordered roasted and steamed both were very dry, even the rice was dry. i ordered the 3x seafood set for $25. i thought it will be a sumptous meal. It too came out bland and yucky. what is the matter with my used to be favorite restaurant? it was so disappointing! the floors were slippery and yucky? the food taste as bad? Have they changed the chef? cutleries were so old.... im sorry but i wont come to this place.
total bill $50... and i dont know what we ate today as the price wasnt justified with the taste and cleaniness.

Honestly, i had better chicken rice. Please do not serve chili that has been diluted in water to customers. One word, Yuck. If You were to take pride in your work, this would not have happened. I doubt that you guys would want to eat your own chicken rice. Wasted half an hour of my life patronising this restaurant.

I've been eating at this place since kid...and yesterday for the 1st time i bring my wife to eat there. Overall the food still good but the worst part is the ice Milo...the price were $2.60 per small galss and it were tasteless....very bad for the drinks...��

It's halal and prices are reasonable. But plates and cutlery is worn out, space is cramped, furniture is spartan and toilets are so filthy my kids refused to use them. We had to go to the mall across the road to pee in the middle of the meal.

One of the best Halal restaurants in Singapore. They serve mainly Chinese food. The price is mid range. I fully recommend it. I have been frequenting the place for more than 10 years.

Bad service at all
Just to confirm with the waitress (middle aged woman) can we ordered sweet and sour chicken with a white rice, end up she shouted us rudely and says is very troublesome by doing this for us.
