It’s funny how many times I have passed by So France but never knew they had a proper indoor dining menu. I was surprised how full the restaurant was on a weekday given it’s in a relatively secluded mall at Duo.
When I saw they had the lunch set, naturally I had to zoom into it. Starters was a zingy potato salad and the main was trout with fried cauliflower and a very tasty zesty sauce. I was thoroughly pleased with my meal. You know sometimes you have set lunches and they could be a big miss.
We ended off the meal with a lava cake, a tiny piece shared 3 ways, which was perfectly chocolatey with a good amount of chocolate ooze. It is indeed a pleasant and decently priced meal in a very cozy and clean French bistro setting. They also have available alfresco dining in cute little nooks which would be perfect in the evenings. Will I be back? A definite yes!
Hands down the best croissant in Singapore! Fluffy and buttery with crispy skin, but not flaky. I don't know if it's authentic French but I love it so much! Ambience is also great~ Barista was quite busy when I visited but she sure is friendly! Please try the non-fat soy latte iced also. If you want black coffee instead, the set is only $5.50 and no service charge. I swear to God if this has more branches in Singapore, you won't find Starbucks any more!
Located just below Andaz hotel so you will not miss it!
Opted for the lunch set ~$35 for a 3 course meal - sea bass, lentil soup & dessert. They also offer free bread basket - refillable! Loved the chill atmosphere & it’s a great hang out spot! Can’t wait to return to try their dinner.
Lunch hour was busy. Due to personal dietary requirements, requested for burger patty to be well done. It was but had a burned side. Generally still yummy to eat though. Staff were efficient too.
I visited So France DUO restaurant with kids, so we booked an outside table . I loved the ambience and the friendly staff. We went on a weekday and slowly it's full .Kids had bread and started with French fries. Fries tasted too good. On our table, we had Beetroot tartare, Octopus special, and tomato pasta. All dishes are delectable. It is fresh and authentic . Credits to the Head chef Balaji ! Finally, Bana-Choc wow ice-cream, well the name says it all. Kids loved it. This is my first time to this restaurant and will definitely come back !
