Most probably the best Curry Puff in Singapore and one of 2 curry puff stalls listed in MICHELIN Guide 2021 Singapore Bib Gourmand Selection.
Unlike the usual fried curry puffs, J2’s crispy curry puffs flakes out like any western puff pastry. The potato filling is grind to a creamy paste and it mel
Tried the black pepper chicken puff ($ 1.80), filling so generous and taste nice. It’s quite saucy inside, so sometime sauce might drip from side of the puff. Skin is soft but crispy and very flaky. If you really can’t tolerate spiciness, better consider another type of filling.
Yam puff 4/5
Curry puff 3/5
First time eating puff with Yam filling. Every mouthful was filled with orh nee and crust. The size of the yam puff looked small at first but it was really filling. The curry puff was alright. For every bite I took, I was hoping to taste the egg but I was disappointed ea
I bought 6 to give to people. I ate one and threw the rest away. Hardly any crust and it was oily (not greasy, oily). The filling was mostly potato. I am writing this review to remind myself never to go back.
Was my favourite but it somehow tastes different. The inside is very mushy and the hit of the curry just isnt the same anymore. Getting smaller too. Will continue to support, but I have lost that craving.
Definitely one of the best, if not the best curry puffs in SG. Love the flaky & crisp layers with very tasty fillings. Yummmms
Have you tried nice black pepper curry puff. If you have not please try it out at this stall. The puff are all freshly hand made each day, you don’t see any puff that is left over from the other day. The puff are big and are stuffed with filling. It is worth trying.
Great curry puff with light and soft pastry. I prefer the sardine filling although the curry potato is not bad. Only issue with this is this curry puff is the pastry is so flakky, it gets messy.
