The cafe was cluttered with boxes and shelves..does not give the comfy and welcoming feel to dine in. Is like I'm eating in a store room. Had the chocolate mint and dark chocolate ice cream and were left disappointed. For $5 per scoop, the quality are far from many Ice cream/dessert shops out there.

Great ambiance, fairly convenient by public transport. But pricey.
Especially for the Nutella tarts which is a huge disappointment. It is basically a crust with Nutella chocolate in the middle and a walnut on top, yet cost $6.90. May as well sell Nutella toast bread with a walnut for $6.90.
The tart crust was flakey and crumbled. Had the strawberry lemonade too, it was well balanced, not to sour not sweet.
Great place to have dessert, but will not return again after having the disappointing Nutella tarts ):

"I went to Takashimaya last night around 8PM. I was looking for a birthday cake. And the staff there name Grace has an excellent service. She assisted me from the beginning to the point that she went out her counter just to provide her best service. The way she smile and her cheerful service made butter studio extra special. I will recommend butter studio to my friends. Because you just not provide delicious products but also you provide an excellent service"

Bought 2 boxes of cupcakes for my friends' birthday previously. Cdnt resist those 3-d looking ones since they were aesthetically fascinating. My friends loved every single one of it. They mentioned that they took time to appreciate how pretty the cupcakes looked before eating. The plus point? It was soft, moist and not too sweet that they could share with their parents. The counter staff that day were also very efficient, from picking the cupcakes until payment. A job well done, Butter Studio! Shall drop by again in future.

It was Fathers Day and my daughter was treating us dessert. My daughter gave good reviews on this place. To my disappointment the Ondeh Ondeh cake, Lychee cake were very dry & the pancakes was bad. My wife enjoyed the rainbow cupcakes. I would not go back again.

I think its about time for your company to say goodbye to loyal client! I just received a gift from a friend today ..its soo horrible !!!!!cup cake frozen and hard!! Gulamelaka looks pretty dark?? The cup cakes looked so unappetizing and tasted bad too. Total waste of time and money. , not fresh. And the Pilipino staff working there probably doesn't know how to handle the cakes Takashimaya B2. I wont recommend to any friends anymore. Good bye to your businesses.

don't bother with the jalan besar shop. they have no cake slices at 2.15 pm on a saturday afternoon, which makes me question if they are seriously running an f&b operation.
