The staff was really friendly and forthcoming! I had the tonkatsu cheese curry udon and it tasted really good! The mentai mayo cheese potato tasted great too although the cheese hardened when it got cold. Overall, a great experience and will come back again!

Japanese restaurant serving a revamped menu of Teishoku and a good variety of Japanese dishes with meat-free options. My top picks would be: β€’ Mix Katsu Teishoku Set ($17.9++) 🌟 The chicken cutlet, pork cutlet & breaded prawns were crispy and tender (the pork can be a little hard) without being overly greasy. Dip it in their egg tartar sauce for that extra flavour. β€’ Meat-Free Kinoko Tempura ($8.9++) 🌟 Deep-fried assorted mushrooms with a crispy exterior and juicy interior, making it really addictive. I liked how the earthy flavour wasn't as strong which makes it more manageable for those who disliked mushrooms like myself. β€’ Kani Cream Croquette ($5.9++) 🌟 Crispy and bursts into a flavourful pool of creamy white sauce and crab as you bite into it. Had a pleasant evening at this fine establishment. The service was fast and the friendly and our order arrived quickly too. The food was also fantastic and I particularly liked the sukiyaki that I ordered as it was tender and juicy. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend this to my friends!

Had a satisfying dinner at Yayoi Bugis Plus Outlet on a weekend. Went at around 6pm, not too crowded and our food was served quickly. We shared 2 mains, 2 sides and 2 drinks. My favourite main was the Tempura Moriawase Teishoku, which had Tempura prawn, shiitake, shimeji, golden mushrooms and scallops. They were crispy yet not greasy. The portion was so huge and only cost S$16.90. I love the hot Yuzu tea too! The sweetness level was just nice. Will come back again and recommend to my friends! The space is spacious so I can have gatherings with my friends there. They have a Yayoi app and if you download it now, you can enjoy a $10 in-app voucher which is easily redeemable at the restaurant.

Really liked this place for their range of Japanese food. The mains were value for money and their tonkatsu was surprisingly good. Sides were abit on the high side but it was understandable since it was premium quality ingredients, like the scallops that we had.

Had a delectable dinner at Yayoi Bugis+ with my girlfriends on 30 April, ordered Unatama Toji Teishoku ($17.90) with Salman Sashimi! :-) Unagi and sashimi are the top choices for me whenever I dine in Japanese restaurant! The unagi taste good and not too salty overall, sashimi tasted very fresh too! 🀀 The staff were friendly and the ambience was good. Definitely coming back for more πŸ˜„ My girlfriends and I definitely enjoyed our dinner and night that day! :-)

The space was clean and it wasn't crowded. Most probably because I went at a non-peak timing. I ordered the Aburi Salmon Mentaiko don with a side of fried prawn. The salmon was great and the mentaiko wasn't overpowering but could do with more sauce cause the rice was abit dry. The fried ebi was great - not very oily and the accompanying sauce is refreshing enough. Would probably come back again and try their other dishes!

The staffs especially the young chinese guy at Bugis Plus. He is very careful in telling us to be cautious of the hotplate. I gave him $10 small tip to share with all staffs 😊 Love the food there!
