Is nice with rice but a bit salty with noodle. Soup a bit herbal taste. Roast meat seems nicer than Char Siew. Overall above average.

A real gem in Bugis. Just the best roast meat store ever! You would not expect a cheap char siew rice ($2.50) to have such generous thick cuts of meat. Soups are only $2.50 too, which is almost unheard of nowadays. You can always enjoy a yummy meal without spending much here.

This is one of the best "i chance upon accidentally" food encounter ever. The highlight is definitely the roasted pork and its one if the best i have ever eaten. Over rated. Noodle not even drain properly of its starch. chat siew wise ok. Wanton taste alright, slightly above average, with the soup have a hint of herbal. The Pepper Pork Belly soup wise very diluted. Almost akin to drinking water. Overall. Ok to eat. But wouldn’t bother to have it again.

For a bowl of wanton mee to be good, it has to excel in at least two aspects of the following three: taste (noodle, ingredients, soup), portion (value for money), x-factor. Food is tasteless and the food portion for zichar is uneven for 2 packet of fried rice . The first one was very less the second was was just nice. The standard for Zi char dropped so much after one year. Disappointed as I always go there to tabao for years .

Deserves zero star. 2 weeks ago. Ordered a duck drumstick rice but the drumstick came with most of its inner thigh chopped off. Unlike all other roast meat stores a drumstick is meant to be the drum plus the whole thigh. Feel extremely cheated. Taste wise is below average as the meat texture was dry
