Imakatsu - Singapore - Photo album

Quite expensive for average food. The fried pork katsu was tender but still a bit dry. The curry sauce a little too sweet and didn't have a spicy kick at all. The tonkatsu sauce was thin. Overall, still edible but not my style at all. The chicken oyako don had similar issues... Kinda bland and sli
Great Food. the ambience is fantastic as well. Ordered the Chicken Katsu Set. A friend ordered the Pork Katsu Don. Chicken is lightly breaded and has a great texture to it. It was juicy and very well seasoned. Would come back to try the Don Free refill for the cabbage slaw as well.
My son Jonathan told us he tried this place with his girlfriend a few weeks back, and it was Good! Yesterday we all drove down for dinner there. Interesting that the place is called Imakatsu, sorta has a 'I'm-a-katsu' ring to it. Jokes and puns aside, we weren't disappointed. The service was immac
My husband and I decided to pop by for lunch as we were in the vicinity, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We had the cheese pork katsu, the mentaiko pork katsu and the fried oysters. The mentaiko katsu was really tender and the mentaiko paste was absolutely heavenly. It was savo
Ordered their fried oysters with beer set for $14. The oysters were small and quite flavorless. And also ordered their Premium Hokkaido katsu ($23). omg. It was soooo oily. I had had so many katsu, this one sits right at the bottom. And the sesame seeds came in a sauce dish. Overall disappointing.
Nice place for an informal tonkatsu meal. The pork is nicely marinated and the fry is just right. The unagi is also very well done. Go for the set meals for between 2-4 pax.
SG has a couple of good Tonkatsu places and I’d say this is one of them! The tonkatsu was crispy but doesn’t feel too oily 😍 It’s about $18++ for the basic set that comes with rice miso soup and salad
Enjoyed the premium pork katsu. The mentailko side, a very small portion, was ok. Like the huge cabbage salad that comes with the meals. From an earlier visit, the premium pork katsu don set (pork loin 180g) was really good.
