First time here. Kids and pets friendly environment. Have both indoor and alfresco dining. A large field for the kids to run around and a bouncing castle to jump.
Food wise is very good, delicious. See pictures.

Food was pretty decent and the server was friendly and approachable. However, the food is pricey. This half and half pizza was $29. Though the ambience is not bad, I don't think it's a spectacular enough place for me to want to travel here especially to eat.

The tuna tataki was superb, very well seasoned. However the eggs benidicts were disappointing, one of the egg were overcooked and the sauce wasn't that tasty. Overall a chill and relax ambience, probably you would be entertained by kids running wild outside the field. Oh, for full comfort, try their sofa seats.

Came here in a Saturday morning for brunch. Lovely place and spacious.
Ordered the eggs benedict and full melba breakfast. Top it up with flat white. Enjoyed my quiet time here and is a good family place for gathering.
Staff are friendly and serving is efficient and fast. Overall good experience.

+ Quiet place with little traffic.
+ Tomato and Mushroom was the nicest.
- Mozzarella Stuffed Rosti is without mozzarella and tasteless.
- Poached Egg is actually soft boiled egg. - Staff was like having a bad day at work.

Long wait under the sun. Short staffed. Pizza is good. Kids love the grass field and bouncy castle.

F&B menu is terrible… it once was amazing! Was there on a Friday evening with two kids and it was dead. The staff were amazing and lovely, and the live music started at 7 PM which was nice.
But I got back to the terrible food options - and the change in beverage menu. Used to have an incredible beer selection of nice Australian craft, now down to a couple Aussie and Singapore local brews. Even the wine list has gone to the ground, scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Miss this place, I really do. Could be amazing!

Great cosy place for family but the food is nothing to rave about. Had the most terrible pancakes! The syrup was not maple as they stated in the menu. Totally do not recommend this place. Service is good especially to expats....,

food has gotten worse. we ordered stir fry veggie and they served us watery vegetables. and their strawberry shortcake in a jar had a cockroach poop in it, i thought it was cockroach egg at first, but later realized that it was actually poop. they said they didn't smell it, but what the heck, i tasted and smelled it, and even showed it to the lady. the lady didn't even want to admit that there was something in their food that shouldn't be there in the first place. not coming back anymore, totally wasted our 100 bucks this morning. wouldn't even recommebd it to our friends.

Great atmosphere. Food is subpar. Came here on a Saturday morning for their brekkie which they only serve on weekends. Tried their raved pancakes ($16) served on a big plate but only with 3 dry pancakes and a small berry sauce. What's the worst was the toast ($15) which consisted of 4 french toasts which looked essentially burnt and nothing else. It's like eating 4 slices of bread dipped in egg which you can make at home.

We order a chicken burger. Chicken fried too long. Cause the meat dry and hard. No seasoning no taste at all. Have to ask chili sauce to give some favor. Only good is French fries with truffle oil. Will not order this chicken burger agin.

Ok I've been to Cafe Melba probably 10+ times and enjoyed myself - however last we went it was less than ideal.
Service was average at best, they really couldn't care because they are now so busy they don't need you - I felt like it was a hassle that we were there.
Food now feels & looks pre-cooked (eggs & bacon).....shame. Coffee is still good.
Would I go back? Possibly because we live close buy and there isn't a lot of options and I get the feeling Melba know and operates this way.

Worst nightmare! My wife, kids vomiting the whole night and diarrhea after having smoke caborana!

Can someone please help me understand why people recommend this place. I just don't get it. Bad coffee, no proper aircon , ok food only, poor service. I'm i expecting too much!
