ION Orchard mall is one of the posh shopping malls I have visited in Singapore. It is easily accessible through public transport and through metered cabs as well. There are plenty of branded and fashion retail shops and good choice Jewellery shops at the basement. The prices in Jewellery shops are reasonable. I would defintely strongly recommend a visit to this mall.

U can definitely find 'atas' items here but do not expect mama shop prices.. u can find great bargains here, especially when there are sales, going on every now and then.. but u gota keep your eyes peeled and check out for their promotions.
For muslims, you can rest assured that there are a bit of halal food choices there. Not the best but there is.. so ya, dont sweat it yahh.. Anyway, the whole place is huge! You can easily spend hours here or even maybe half a day🤭🤭. An art gallery, observation deck and more!
So yes, there are things to do and see here. Make sure you get ready a good pair of walking shoes so you are still comfortable after hours of walk. And oya, there are some rules & regulations to the places, so make sure u check them out 1st., Eg d deck.. there is a min limit of $50/spend and timings as well, or something like that. So make sure u check those fine details 1st ya..

The food at Food Republic is SURPRISINGLY cheap n tasty. N the variety of food here is also commendable, healthy mix of Korean, Japanese, local and Halal options. A good place to have dinner n chill b4 heading home.

Its a huge mall and located at the main shopping street of Singapore. The shops are mostly high end but the food is still normal and has several other malls in vicinity. Its directly accessible through Orchard MRT.

Opened in 2009, with 335 food and retail shops, ION Orchard is a luxury mall on Levels 1 to 3, but the 3 basement levels are dedicated to the typical Singaporean crowd.
ION Orchard is conveniently connected underground with Shaw House, Wisma Atria, Wheelock Plaza, Tang Plaza and the Orchard MRT station. Other than the top luxury brands like Louis Vutton, Christian Dior, Prada, Burberry, Valentino etc, there is a Bacha Coffee place that attracts endless queues.
However, Orchard Road is no longer the only shopping destination of Singapore as it used to be 20-30 years ago with the emergence of Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

Visited on 18 Dec 2021.. there was a crowd visiting for last minute xmas shopping and meals.. the go to place for luxury and high end goods, or just to enjoy the aromatic aircondition smell.. there is always something for everyone, from the trying to act atas ones to those just admiring the goods and not having any money to buy 😊

After comparing with so many other buffets in Singapore, I finally decided on Todai because I came here once a long time ago. Planned for a wonderful birthday for my fiance only to end it with such an awful seafood buffet lunch with only 3 types of seafood - Baby octopus, green mussels and blue mussels (See photo in comments). On their website, there were no information that there are only so limited number of seafood available, or I will NEVER come at all. It is so DECEIVING. For a buffet restaurant that claims themself as the "Mother of Seafood Buffet", having only 3 types of seafood on ice is the biggest joke I ever heard. For a weekday lunch buffet serving 3 types of seafood and other cold tempura, cold fried pancake, cold pizza, the price so freaking not worth. I can spent less amount out there and at least my food will be warm! So funny, even the cooked food are as cold as the seafood!!! Cold cooked food are not cold seafood yo!! Really too disappointed with the food and totally ruined our mood for the birthday celebration. Never ever gonna be back, and will never recommend anyone to come here for the buffet - 1 star is really more than what they deserve.

In size by a lot and super NOT fresh, meat not even sweet, infact, nearly tasteless and stucked to the shell. Prawns were mehhhhhh, some hard to deshell, beef steak like raw/medium raw? The roasted pork has this very strong pork smell. The chicken wings were badly marinated, oxtail meat so tough, Chinese dish section, everything were overly salty, cray fish meat not fresh and takes forever to replenish (I walked 3 rounds seeing only gravy before I actually tasted 1), mussels not fresh, oyster not fresh, didn't dare to try their sashimi Shushi after eating the snow crab legs and oysters.
Pizza server full of attitude. Washing dishes, leaving the already cooked pizza inside. When I asked, she gave me the 'can't you see I'm busy washing' look, before slowly making her way over to bring out the pizza.
Ran out of carbonated drinks, durian cakes, macaroon, slow on replenishing food, servers were slow to clean up as well. Food poisoning due to all the not fresh at all seafood. Doesn't even deserve a single star! Never ever going back.

Food average for the price. Ambience not worth the price. Gave expired complimentary parking. Called your restaurant and the customer service staff said she's not responsible for it. Asked me to return to the restaurant which us impossible when my car is stuck at the gantry. If your staff if not responsible, i assume your customer is. Definitely not worth a trip to Todai & wouldn't recommend anyone to visit. Most hotel buffet (if not all) will have better service.

Sashimi only got one choice - which is salmon…

This is the only buffet restaurant that I came out still hungry because almost all of their food was inedible.
I wanted to reach out for the sushi and 3 flies flew out when I was about to go for it...
Presentation was so ugly, food quality was bad and so dried up.
The owner of this place should stop washing their dirty money and start focusing on what is right.

It have been a year since I visited. Totally disappointed, just went there yesterday. Price was the same as before but the quality of food is far far worst than before. No matter in term of quality or variety it is just lousy. The seafood are not fresh, meat sticking to shell. Desserts was even worst, tart skin are so hard, cake also very hard. Doesn't taste fresh. I think I can bake better at home. I think Todai will not last long in business, if no changes. Anyone want to eat there, my advise. Think twice or even don't think about it.

Utterly disappointed with the food selection during lunch hours. We had been to Todai for couple of times. The standard of food that are being served now was really way off as compared to last time. The sushi rice taste stale and my little girl observed that there are flies flying around the sushi area. Ice cream machine is out of service but the ice cream toppings are avaliable at the counter. What a joke! Considering the price that we had paid, I think any buffet around that area can do a better job than theirs.

It's disappointing ) ; service crew isn't attentive enough. Food was not up to standard . There's so much to improve on , the variety of food wise and also the service crew ! They have to be more alert.
There's also a good point to add on :
- I realized there is a girl with hearing impairment attached to her ear , and she also have talking disability . I think this is a good place for her to have her attachment and strive for her future endeavors.

Honestly speaking, as a regular customer eating here. The plates are 90% dirty & the beef is super super rare(almost not cook)! Seriously paying 68++, are the food really worth? Are the service really worth?!?! NOT AT ALL!!!! I'm super disappointed!!!! At a tourist attraction place, seriously you guys are going to serve such service and food to the customer and tourist?!?!?!?!

The food was not fresh and the dishes looks like scrap leftovers, some of the food actually tasted funky. Lunch was supposed to end at 3pm, and I was demanded to pay up at 2pm and as I was told that they do not accept nets and so I made my way to the atm and when I had returned, they had pressured one of my birthday guests to pay up! Service was terrible! The staff had repeatedly visited our table to pressure us to leave before 3pm and emphasised that they were closing! This place clearly does not welcome guests and does not need our patronising! Not returning!

Excellent customer service when I booked my reservation. Sashimi was nice. Plenty of variety.
However, some food was lacking in freshness particularly the crayfish. Hope this can be improved.
Overall dining was pleasant and fast refill of food despite large crowd.

If there no star I would have rated it. Lousy service and lack of varieties of food. For the price it don't worth it. "mother of seafood"?? My ass... Service staff make me feel like we own them hell lots of money. And seafood? They don't even serve prawns.... All of it is some standard size Maki and tiny sushi. When it sashimi it worse worse worse the server was anyhow cutting and the sashimi come with a thick layer of skin which remind me of chewing on a gum.... Lucky for me it's on the company tab. And surely I won't be back for the overpriced lousy buffet.

Just went last week! The choice of variety is huge, and good. But at the price of $80+ per pax, they shouldn't control the oystals and chilly crabs. It spoilt customers appetite....At this price, it's considered as 5 stars hotel rate, it don't make sense and not worth to give itself a bad review by words of mouth to control the popular dishes. It's penny wise pound foolish, that It will haunt their business in the long run, when customers starts going to other competitor to eat instead with real free flow of oystals ...!

Had the worst service experience at Todai after visiting their outlet for dinner on 10/12.
Frankly speaking in all my years of living this is THE worst buffet restaurant I've ever had. While the buffet spread may look impressive when you walk in, upon closer inspection, the food is small in size, dry and badly prepared. Though there were some exceptions, namely the sliced beef, korean gyoza and the fried man tou.
The service was slow, inattentive and strict. When I requested for a change of seats as they placed us beside some couple, we were denied by the management stating that all other seats were under reservation.
I understand that, but the supervisor couldn't be a little flexible considering that the entire restaurant (only 3 couples were there 5.30pm) was empty at the time of request?
Besides , before we left the restaurant at 7pm there were empty untaken seats available. How accommodating ?
Either ways we are never visiting this crappy place ever again.
