Very nice and warmth dining concept.......food was very fresh and tasty......beer was smooth and refreshing.......cosy place with good food.......both bosses were approachable and serving with passion, explaining the food before leaving........makes the food taste even interesting before trying it.......Very good experience......
Came here for the first time with my friends to celebrate a birthday. Ran into the dinner rush crowd and waited over half an hour for each serving of food. Well worth the wait and the food was fresh and the seasoning excellent. Service staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs and I couldn't recommend it enough. Definitely gonna come by again! Thank you The Skewer Bar for the excellent experience!

food is amazing! (try the seabass, midjoint chicken and eggplant) craft beers from oedeo and sapporoo on tap goes well with the bbq food.
great service crew, reasonable prices and u get to have bbq food without smelling like bbq. make a reservation to avoid dissapointment!
Amazing food! Balanced seasoning & perfect cooking which did great justice to the fresh ingredients! The oysters - a must-try and the bacon wrapped skewers - packed a punch! Even the BBQ fish, though smothered in chilli paste, you could still taste the sweetness of the flesh without the taste getting over powered by the spices!
Gastronomic street food style grilled to perfection 👍 A definite gem hideout place . Great service and totally love their Grilled oysters and Chicken Gizzard .

I came here with my friends after the dinner crowd at about 9! We waited awhile for the table (also because we had 5 people) but we were pleasantly surprised when we realised there was air con seating ! It was so much more comfy !! Service staff was very friendly and the experience was good. We enjoyed our time here and will come back definitely during their off peak period :) keep up the good work ! Its quite an interesting concept to see in a coffeeshop :) cheers
I came here for 4 consecutive days. Simply love this place and the food, especially the salad.
Revisited The Skewer Bar recently after they shifted out to their own space.
The place is rather crowded but fortunately we are able to get a seat inside.
Ambience was very different from the previous location which was within a coffee shop.
Pricing was higher than the previous time we went, which was understandable with the expansion of place and crews.
Plus point of the new setting is the draft beers!

Cosy ambience. Great place to hang out with friends over some drinks and tasty skewers.

The first time I ate at Skewer Bar was not at this current location. In fact, they occupied a corner in a coffee shop at the junction, next to the current location. Before we knew it, they shifted to this location. The business is really good on most days. At the height of Covid where dining in was not allowed, I ordered food to go and via delivery quite a few times. I especially like their skewers and my personal favourite is their simple but perfect teriyaki pork skewer. The Taupok Special and Fried Soft Shell Crab are things that I order every time I am there. If you like some carb, go for the Hae Bee Hiam Pasta. Something I need to specially mention - which is for the longest time, there was no dessert on the menu. But this time, there is this creation called Triple O’s (Onigiri Ondeh Ondeh). The staff said this is his favourite and I can’t agree more. There is Gula Melaka infused in the freshly grilled onigiri which is made by black rice, coupled with coconut ice-cream and drizzled with salted caramel. Heavenly. You have to try it!
an unique izakaya place that serve fusion or mixed grilled items. great atmosphere and crazily hardworking service team. food and drinks wise is decent. good place to catch up and hang out in Geylang.

Great place for supper and beer. In fact, the meatballs are lovely as it is soft and tasty. A place to go ahead in April when we can dine in after 10.30pm.
