best steamboat experience. Visited the shop for a few times n were nvr disappointed. The food is delicious n the staffs r v attentive. They will approach the customers even before they request for services.
For the taste of the food, it's quite similar to HDL n they also hav their signature dishes. The restaurant offers great varieties of the soup bases which is made by fresh ingredients. I hav to say tt their tomato soup is one the best tomato soup base in SG. Also, can find a generous sum of fresh mushrooms in their mushroom soup base.
At the same time, the price there is consider friendly n affordable for most of the steamboat lovers. Comparing to HDL, the price is ard 30% cheaper. Really worth it n strongly recommended.
Est place if youre looking for a HDL alternative. Good for group gathering too! Love the food and service there! ❤️👌🏼

A awesome place for Ma la hotpot and dining with friends without Q up like HDL. The price is so much CHEAPER with GOOD services. Free flow of drinks, fruits etc same as HDL. Staffs r friendly and initiative. A fav place to enjoy my hotpot dinner. 服务好东西很好吃，会一直光顾
Went there today. Definitely need reservation. Food is fresh and presented nicely. Mala soup was slightly oily and spicy for me, but tomato soup is good. Drinks refill was fast. The bill came up to $150 for 5 ladies, which I felt was cheaper compared to Jpot. Overall good experience. Will be back.

Shangpin is my go to steamboat place in town for afew years now. I've recommeded this outlet to alot of my friends and they loved it as much as I do!
The Pork Bone broth is the must try! Super flavourful and addictive, usually they will have a huge pork bone in the steamboat too. Suan Cai broth is surprisingly very very rich and a must try. Generous amount of suan cai and legit good!
Ingredients are cheaper than other steamboat places. I like how the ingredients are very clean and well presented.
They used to offer drinks like wintermelon, chinese tea etc but now only serve ice/warm water. Drinks need to order by the standard cans or bottles.
Also the membership part kinda lacking cause got member or no member its no difference. Collect points but nothing much. Could also discontinued alrdy since no required logging in of membership during payment too.
Bill usually comes up to $30-$40 per pax. Hope theres more outlet in the future!

Loved the 酸菜 and 猪肚 soup bases. The former is quite spicy. The two pax set is quite filling. Quality of food is good and tasty. Service is friendly and prompt too.
Is an extremely good alternative from HDL. Is cheaper with good ingredients. They have pig skin which I think it goes perfectly well with mala soup! The service are good as well. Will definitely visit again.
Still as tasty and bang for buck as ever. Worth the visit if you're in the vicinity and have a craving for hot pot.
