Dian Xiao Er - Singapore - Photo album

They are supposed to be famous for their ducks but we find their other dishes better. They added too much sauce on the roast ducks which makes the meat soggy. Other dishes were all well cooked. Delicious & tasty. Even the white steam rice was so soft & fragrant.
What can I say… it was amazing! We ordered stuff we didn’t know but it was delicious! The only thing was that the duck had some nasty bones in it. Other then that we were full and happy.
The quality of food and service here beats the jurong point outlet by miles. All the dishes were well cooked, only complain is the over starchy sauce used for the spinach dish and tofu dish. Skip the soups though, it wasn’t flavourful. That said, the duck was good as usual, skin was crispy.
Their CRISPY LOTUS ROOTS & PUMPKIN IN SALTED EGG SAUCE and Duck Roasted with Angelica Herb was really tasty. Other dish we tried was also good. Roasted iberico char shew was normally ok, maybe above the standard, but other dishes were too good. Anyhow I’d like to visit them again!
Membership is worth. Staff is polite and fast. Always try the angelica (danggui) duck. The char siew is nice but on the sweeter side. Kangkong is nice. The luohan guo taste like canned grass jelly drink; I think the taste not consistent across branches.
Visited again after half a year and the duck still amazes me. Service was friendly although they missed out the vege as the restaurant was very busy. So it's understandable. Amazing as usual. One of the best duck at this price range.
Reasonable priced and food is all so good. Service wise is ok so pls do not expect too high as they are really busy. But definitely will serve you in time and I am still happy with both food and services.
Love the long beans and the fried rice. La zi ji was slightly disappointing as the chicken wasn’t crispy enough and the flavour of the spices wasn’t that strong
