Random craved for Korean BBQ one after rainy afternoon and decided to head to Danji Korean BBQ since it was in the east.
Was very impressed as the owners were very attentive to customer’s request hence service was very quick.
Food was very good as well and top standard. Love now authentic the set up of the restaurant is and how fresh their Kim chee taste
Will definitely go back again!!
Very worthy place for Korea Bbq! Opened by a Korean couple, with authentic dishes! I like their mashed potatoes, kimchi was really good. Their bean paste was amazing too I had 2 servings!
Meat marination wasn't too salty, very good. The meat were of good grade despite its value for money.
I would certainly recommend this place!
For me, this is the best affordable buffet place to binge on grilled k-bbq 😅 plenty of meat to choose from and their batch of lettuce always comes out fresh 😂 they have unli japchae and tteokbokki available too.
Service was nice! Asked us if we want to replace our 2nd bottle of soju to a more chilled one which me and my friends noted how thoughtful that service crew was!
Will for sure be the #1 option when cravings for kbbq comes! Highly recommended 👌🏾
Came around 2pm on Saturday with reservation but outdoor seating as aircon area was full. It was good timing cause there is no patrons talking loudly which is the most irritable dining experience having loud conversations volume coming from surrounding tables. Variety was okay, owner practice avoid food wastage so portion is small which is good. Loved the kimchi, also for sale at $60 for 10kg. There isnt any dipping sauce provided though so we just paired it with kimchi. I personally preferred their non seasoned meat 😁.
Simply put: good food at a good price. One of the best KBBQ buffets I've had. No need to break the bank here for decent quality meat. Marinades are done well: flavourful and yet, light. Even the japchae is one of the best I've had, even among paid korean restaurants. Run by a Korean couple, taste is really authentic.
Minor gripes: the pan has certain hot spots, so some management is needed to get a nice sear on big pieces of meat. Also, it's a small place run by a korean couple and a helper, so service can be a little slow. English isn't the lady's strongest language so please give them some patience.
Given the price point, the spread is wide & unfortunately we can’t help ourselves due to pandemic.
The owner couple is friendly and will constantly walk around to clear the table & plates.
Among all, personally preference is pork collar and chicken; succulent and well marinated.
Interestingly, there’s 2 options for the kimchi, normal and more sour.
$61 for 2 pax.
