Review Dookki Singapore - Singapore

First time dining experience for me and I highly enjoyed myself! My friends and I came in at 5:30pm and thankfully there wasn't a queue yet. We tried the rose base and my friends were obsessed! It was a little filling for me but I thoroughly savoured it and I'd love try out the other options. The ambience and service were fantastic; food arrived rather quickly and the staff are very helpful. Towards the end of our meal we were served by a part timer named Julie. She was incredibly friendly and encouraged us to try the fried rice and she was right! It would have been a waste if we hadn't tried it. She also offered and served us bingsoo which was the perfect way to end the meal. Overall a pleasant experience and I'm excited to come again!

Came here with my friends. Awesome experience, awesome food, awesome waitress and waiters. Very attentive and caring. Will definitely come back. Waitress was so kind to give us an extra pot to try another flavour knowing that it was our first time. So wonderful:))

Went to Dookki at Suntec branch today. This is my N times there as I will go with my GF once a month at least. I love how soft and chewy their rice cake is, authentic fish cake which taste the same as what I had in Korea, crispy fried chicken and clams are very fresh too. As compared from the beginning when they first started till now they have added more items in the menu to make our meal more value for money without increasing the buffet price. 👍 For all the times I’ve been there there was never a time we had only chicken and instant noodle. There is always plenty of ingredients as shown on their website and menu and it’s very easy to order thru their barcode system. Reason for limiting the quantity of the item for each order is to reduce food wastage but they won't stop us from ordering again and again. The service staffs are always friendly and attentive to our needs never once were they rude to us and to my observation to all the guests around us too. I am leaving this review cos I read a negative one which I don't agree with. You have to try DOOKKI yourself to know if I’m telling the truth. I will still be going there once a month as it’s my favourite comfort food. Thank you DOOKKI for bringing such authentic korean pot to Singapore for us. ❤️

No wonder the queues are so long. This buffet is extremely worth it. I paid around $22+ per pax but left feeling very full and satisfied. Do note of the long queue epically during peak times as many others also want to dine here. I waited for around 30 minutes during dinner time on a weekday. The food can be ordered via a QR code that you scan. Limited quantities can be selected each time. As this a buffet, you can always order more again if you feel that it is not enough. The food here is amazing, one of the best Korean food places that I have been to. The soup is really rich and flavourful. Everything taste amazing when cooked inside the soup. I opted for the mild spicy which in my opinion, is already quite spicy. There have many flavours to choose from. Do note that the meat selection is quite limited, there is no pork belly which is usually a must for any Korean restaurant. This explains the lower price compared to other places. Nonetheless, the current selection that is available is more than enough to satisfy your Korean cravings. I have no doubt that you will greatly enjoy the food here. I will definitely head back here for my Korean food fix.

Great dining experience at Dookki . Was deeply impressed by the staff service attitude despite the peak dinner madness. 2 of my friends and myself was waiting for another friend at the queue and Bawan took the initiative to bring out an extra chair for me to be seated. Didnt really waited for long and we were ushered to our table. He explained to us with patience on how to go about placing order for the food. They even paid attention on small details such as refilling our peach juice promptly (same goes to the rest of the tables as well) and making sure all the customers did not wait too long for the food to be served. Food came pretty fast and was flavourful. Highly recommended the Tteokbokki Stew with Double Cheese Ring. We love the Fishcakes, fried dumplings, fried sweet potatoes & fried drumsticks too. Ordered moderate portion of these side dishes so as to keep stomach space for the yummy and fragrant Kimchi Fried rice. The sparkling peach juice were so addicitve that I've 5 servings in total. Thumbs up for the food! James did a good job in explaining to us about the culture of the different types of cuisines, how it came about and of course, how to enjoy it. Ended our meal with a bowl of refreshing bingsoo (Do stir well and mix the icing n chocolate syrup before eating) Felt that the staff here were more like friends than any typical staff serving customers at the restaurant. They were warm, friendly and helpful. James even came to our table n bided us farewell when he ended his shift. Thank you Bawan and James once again for the effort and awesome service. We were totally blown away by their gestures, their professionalism and excellent service. We will be back. Keep it up!

Very very crowded during lunch hours and long queue. $16++ for adult lunch and it provides very good value. Could use bigger cup for beverages.. also to inform customers that the liquid in the kettle is NOT drinking water nor tea.. finished two cups thirsty realizing it was actually broth for the main..

Wow it is located in basement 1 of suntec tower 3 and 4. Decently priced for buffet style. Seems many youngsters frequent this place but what caught my attention is the cheese layer around what seems to be steamboat! What we thought is steamboat is completely incorrect, its supposed to be rice cake with gravey which latter can be used to fry korean fried rice, as highlighted by a korean lookalike but actually 100% lady singaporean part time server. She said the name dookki in korean means cook twice or two times and there's even a third one in some context. Whole idea is not to waste food i think in korean context. Our first time here so we under ordered until this lady server attended to us personally after we feedback our noodle is not served yet despite the others are served. Anyway she recommended alot of stuff to us after hearing its our first time there. Such professionalism I respect 100% if i owe a restaurant I'd definitely hire her! First step cook in the gravey or so called spicy soup and stir heavily the ingredients do not think you have put too much cause end result should be gravey style, not steamboat style. Additional cheese is 9++ but its worth a try if you like and are first timer. After eat already, can end off with the staff frying fried rice for you and end off with bingsu chocolate. Yum! Will come back w other friends again cheers

Had lunch here. Service and food was awesome! Took advice from other review to leave some space for phase 2 dining which is the fried rice. Fried rice was awesome and hit the spot as well. Just note that for lunch the dessert or bingsu will not be available.
