Went to try the peranakan vegetarian restaurant. Very tasty and nice home cook food. Not too oily pretty good on taste and flavor. Must try for vegetarian wanting to try something different. Good job by the chef to cook such local dishes using local ingredients. Will try again instead of take away d
Can’t go wrong dining here. Lots of good food, but be prepared to queue especially during peak dining hours. With so much choices, it would be hard for you to decide what to eat! Prices is still reasonable for most of the stalls.
I had the XO fish head soup. The broth is tasty not too salty/fishy. I wonder how they fried the fish so crispy yet non-greasy. Must try if you love to eat fish head! Cash payment only.
A hawker center full with nice local food. From $1.30 nice coffee, soya bean and dessert. Varieties of noodles, the best is prawn noodle, yummy soup and nice pig tail inside. Most of the long Q stalls are nice to try as most people knows they are nice to eat. There are 2 carpark for those who drive
Walkable from Mountbatten MRT or Dakota. Many many good food stalls here! You would be spoilt for choice! You can see many stalls repeated here, like fried prawn Mee. Go for the ones with long queues and you would never go wrong! Affordable hawker prices as well, depending on what you order. Plenty
Awesome oyster omelette from Xing Li Cooked Food. Uncle is dedicated to the craft of producing a perfect omelette; he scraps the pan after each dish is done and it is sparkling clean! The oysters are huge, juicy and fresh! Totally worth it.
Had alot of food. So full, it was hard getting off our seats! Popiah from fortune was good with crunchy bits. Cheong fun is super fresh and thin, made upon order.
Many good hawkers under one big roof at this hawker centre. The locals enjoy their good meal with many varieties for all meals of the day and night. Too bad it’s not 24 hours.
