I especially like the hardware-store-turned-cafe concept with black/white/wood colour combination. The indoor bar/counter tabletop and outdoor long wooden table are interesting areas to chill. I super like the blue hair barista who looks super professional. They do have a few choices of beans, a wide range of drinks selection from coffee, tea to even beer. Many lovely cakes to choose from. Hot dishes tasted better than it looks. Prices on the whole is slightly higher than average cafes but their coffee is definitely of a good standard. You can also grab some coffee products from their tiny shop at the back as gifts too!

The atmosphere and service are great. Friendly staff. The coffee is just right. Creamy, strong, right temperature, and can taste the different flavours of the coffee. Worth the visit if you are in the area.

Often crowded during weekends. They are one of the few coffee roasters in Singapore that offers specialty coffee. Thus, they offer great coffees from around the world. They are certified cupper and Q Graders so they really know what great coffee is all about. They also offer roasting tour and public cuppings here. The food and drinks they offer in their cafe are pricey though and nothing exceptional with the taste.

One of the popular coffee roaster in Singapore, they have so many options for coffee beans. They also sell some coffee equipment. Actually their place is on the 2nd floor of CSHH, and you can try their coffee at the coffee shop on the 1st floor.

I was trying to find this coffees hop. After they close the one in bukit timah. This one is amazing.... The food choice just great for brunch or dinner.... They change their name though to hye sheng huat hardware or things like that. They have the bar and you can try their beer at night too

Ordered the Pork chop risotto, because they used to have a good pork chop dish. The taste was decent but the risotto was horribly undercooked. Both my friend and I were eating raw rice grains!! I think I might get a tummy ache!
People were nice though, but am really sad because I recommended this place to my friends � better luck next time

I like the traditional Chinese (soon kueh) and Western pastries (tarts, cakes) fusion. We like the soon kueh and the lemon tart. Good ambience! A place worth visiting for a meal with family and friends.

Smoked salmon toastie - 3 stalks of asparagus grilled to perfection. Dressing on the mesclun salad was just right in terms of ratio and tartness. Hashbrowns crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and best of all not overly oily. Would have liked the sous vide egg to be a little more runny but overall a very impressive dish. Crispy pork skins with chili unevenly seasoned and could have used a touch of lemon mustard vinaigrette. A great variety of desserts on display - will be back for that. Full house on a Tuesday afternoon at 1.15pm!

Coffee and food great but staff have bad attitude, messaging on mobile during taking an order. Have to collect your coffee from counter when there are heaps of staff standing around to do this. Query about this was not well received. Nylon is smaller, perfect coffee, with no food but staff happy, helpful and provide table service

Service sucks to the maximum to the core. Coffe sucks. Food ordered and the staff forgot abt the food order after 30 mins of waiting. Staff chatting with each other and treat the us as transparent while the shop only have 4 customers around. .. never ever going here again..

The nitro was good. Same strength level and stable through out. Nitrogen level was good enug to prevent further oxidation of cold brewed coffee. Tasted similarity throughout the period. In other simplified words, no acidy was detected. PERFECT like Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.

Service sucks, got the order wrong, solution from the serving staff is to re-queue for 15 mins to get the correct item.

Ordered a takeaway cafe latte for my girl waiting in the car. Asked for sugar satchets as I wasn't sure how much sugar she needs. Was told they have none for takeaway. Asked for more milk, was told that the cafe latte had enough milk. Fucking shit. I know how much milk a cafe latte is supposed to have which is why I'm asking for more. What a ignorant waitress/barista. Hopeless.
