Chao Zhou Fishball Noodles - Singapore - Photo album

Very nice fishball noodles. Noodles are well cooked, mixed well with the chilli sauce and a touch of ketchup. Not forgetting their crispy pork lard. Fishballs texture are great. Soup are tasty. Be prepared to wait, long queue expected. Highly recommended.
Finally had the chance to try the original Li Xin Fishball Noodles at Toa Payoh Lor 7. The noodles and chilli combi is damn shiok! Not overly spicy, yet the chilli-ketchup-lard mix leaves a nice aftertaste in the mouth. And the fishballs. Tastes so different for all the standard DoDo/ytf kind. Chewy
Even on a heavy rainny Sunday morning, the queue was snaking and no sign of stopping. The noodle was well cooked and fishballs were big, and it still selling at $3.50. Sause was towards the sweet side even with chili unlike the common fishball noodle taste, and there is no vinegar. It's on the board
Surprisingly quite nice although the main ingredients are just 5 medium fishballs + noodles. Worth the queue to give it a try for first-timer.
Went there Toa Payoh Lor 7 Li Xin stall on Sunday 20 Feb. @ about 11.55am. Queue was fantastically long. Waited 1 hour to get my 2 bowls of noddle (1 dry and 1 soup). If you want the BEST Fishball Noodles in Singapore (some say the world 😮) Look no further!! This is the one!! Fishballs are out of the world 👍 Every single bite is a taste of heaven 😎 1 person can take 12 fishballs at 1 go 😂 Update: they just changed their sign board but it's still as good!
Always long q. Simple dish with the traditional taste. $3.50 with 5 large fisballs. Very considerate stall owner. I ordered a bowl to eat in and take-away, he offered to help pack when I am done with my meal.
Jul 2021. We could only take away during P2HA (due to 2 big clusters in Jurong Fishery Port and KTV). We ordered 2 x mee poknat $4.50 each. The chilli and fishballs were great. It could have been better if we could dine in at the food centre.
