I was heading to deposit cash for 立春。Seeking to find the nearest machine to me at 170 Stirling Rd. The bigger bonus and surprise find was Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee. I love coffee. Chancing upon this was a "Wow!" for me. The moment I enter the shop, the aroma of coffee reminds me of childhood days where coffeebeans were grinded to powder and the aroma was amazing. Having tasted the coffee, the thickness, smoothness, is really great! I was sharing with my wife how come we never manage to find this "cafe" when we googled. Nonetheless, I am grateful for chancing upon such a good place with great coffee on our wedding anniversary and my birthday.

You know it's good when you smell the coffee way before you can spot the cafe. Stayed in the neighbourhood in my childhood days and think there was this shop selling roasted coffee beans in its place... Which I believe is the same place that has evolved! Love the belgian truffle cake and cold brew I had before the sharing session, the vibes this place gives off and the people behind it here! Be back for more for sure, and hopefully really soon!

Authentic coffee, and a place where real knowledge about coffee beans, roasting is shared selflessly. Changed a lot over the years.

If you're in to coffee, you'll love this place. The staff are not only very knowledgeable about coffee, but they're also super friendly. I buy my raw beans from here and it's always a pleasure to go back and see what's new.

Coffee. Enough Said. Favorites as an everyday brew with a full automatic machine are the Sumatra Mandeling G1 and Columbian Gachala. Considering that a Lavazza Gold Espresso costs around 58-69 from supermarkets and the Gran Espresso around 54, the prices for the above Indonesian and Columbian beans are very reasonable for being roasted on demand.

This place is situated near a HDB flat and is quite convenient. This place is cozy and the taste of the coffee is just right and is very tasty and delicious😋❤️👉🍵. The coffee aroma could be smell from a distant. You can buy their coffee packs and brew your own coffee at home. It is definitely a unique experience within a nice and quiet residential area to have a excellent morning coffee.

Nice quiet coffee nook located inside an HDB compound. Had pour over coffee which was served in a beautiful ornate tray. Tasted very good and mellow. They also roast their own beans so do get a bag if you also like to brew your own coffee at home.

Came here for a piccolo and a pour over. Loved the piccolo but the pour over was a little flat - I think it was the Kenyan. Service was very good. The place is a little small so it got crowded quickly and will be difficult for groups to find a table. The trip to the bathroom is a bit of an odyssey through the storeroom 😂 but it's fine.

Excellent coffee! Had the opportunity to speak to Wax who educated us about coffee brewing. Pleasant environment for a good cuppa and catch up. Will be back and will try their other outlets too! 👍

This is a small neighbourhood coffee shop with only a few tables. So it’s not easy to get seats, so we only went for takeaway coffee. Got the flat white with oat milk; the oat milk seem to enhance the flavour of the coffee which was very good. The logo of this coffee shop is also interesting, seems to suggest a local Chinese coffee shop but actually sells western coffee. Apparently was told they roast their own brand coffee beans as well but didn’t have time to check this part out this time.

Had tea and a macha Swiss roll while we waited for a short while for our coffee drip satchels to be packed (see pic of the individual sealed drip packets). Very friendly service. Comfortable place. And very popular. Its a nice place to be.

Quaint cafe tucked under HDB block. Seating is limited so expect to wait for some time to get seats on weekends. Store sells beans that are freshly roasted from the unit next door so those who are inclined to brew their own coffee can consider picking some up. As for the coffee itself in the cafe; they are well-brewed without a burnt taste. Staff are also able to advice on the origin of the beans used. Some pastries are also available for pairing with the coffee - they are decent in quality but not extraordinary.

Cozy spot for great coffee! Their latte was full, smooth and vibrant with the perfect hint of citrus acidity. The prices there are rather reasonable as well, with a hot and cold options at around $5. The staff there were very friendly, genuine and accomodating, ensuring that we were comfortable while waiting and even offering us water while we were drinking the coffee. They also offer a diverse range of coffee beans from different origins, roasted on-site. For those who prefer more local coffee, they even have an old-school style store adjacent to the coffee house which sells local beans!
