We decided for dinner at Black Society today. After reading the earlier reviews, we kinda know what to expect inside.
And true to the tale, service quality and speed could be better, perhaps faster food serving and with a smile would win more hearts than stars here.
The roast meats are above average, not overly done. The mapo tofu is of the right spiciness and goes well with white rice.
The other items are as earlier reviewer's comments.

The decoration for the restaurant was very classy and very chic. Quite like the design and layout of the restaurant.
However, the menu of the restaurant was old and torn up- you could see from my photos that the corners of the pages of the menu were all torn up. Clearly gave a mis-matched feelings of the restaurants.
Services was alright. Food was served fast. The tea was refilled and poured without us asking about it.
The food was good, especially, the roast pork. Just that the food seemed a bit oily for all the dishes.
Price wise- it was a bit on the high side.
Overall experience was acceptable.

Had a wonderful dinner at Black Society on 8th April with family. The food was good but it was the service provided by Ivy that made our dinning exceptional. We like to commend Ivy for making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. She was attentive and took time to understand our "craving" before recommending. Will definitely come back again to celebrate another joyous occasion soon.

Excellent elevated Chinese (Cantonese) cuisine. Shark Cartilage Soup with Fish Maw was rich and tasty, Lobsters were amazingly fresh and beautifully steamed in Cantonese style that brings out the sublime flavour of this protein, and the Crab Braised Bee Hoon was exceptionally prepared and incredibly delicious. What a gastronomic experience and treat!

Went there twice. Love their carrot cake and roasted meats. At my first visit (after 1.30pm), at least 5 of their dim sum items were sold out! Their service can be improved.

The food is excellent and the standard and quality are always consistent. We would like to specially commend Manager Ivy for her amazing service. She is very attentive to our needs/requests and always ensures we have an enjoyable meal.

Spacious restaurant with lotsa light and good view. Food was good, fresh and hearty. Felt like what you’d get if you go to a regular breakfast dim sum joint in Hong Kong. Staff was friendly and attentive.

First visit and food taste good. Didn't have chance to try dim sum. The manager Ivy introduced the rare dessert , almond papaya, which is the most surprised and delicious after all.
