Great food! Definitely one of the place to go when one wants some good old Peranakan food! The fried fish was the highlight. The acha that comes before the meal was 1-2 levels up from any acha I had anywhere!

It's been a long time since we last visited. Place was packed! Glad to see them doing well. We were not disappointed. All the dishes were delicious. They'll be shifting to a new location on 1 Jun 2022.

This gem really deserves more stars, felt that they are very underrated. Been a while since I had such authentic Peranakan cuisine & we polished everything. Particularly, the assam pedas is so good; well balanced in terms of the sourness & spiciness. Ngoh hiang is extremely flavourful & moist on the inside. Never a fan of ngoh hiang but this is really addictive, one of the best I had. I had high expectations on their chendol, was a little disappointed to see that the shaved ice grains were too coarse; hoping that it’s fine. Other than that, the chendol is fine; more on the coconuty side. Notably, the complimentary kueh salat is so good, wish they sells it. The steamed glutinous rice base is chewy, not flavored with sugar & it balances off the sweetness from the custard. A pleasant highlight of our meal.

[$42.37/pax] Great peranakan food, make sure to ask for some sambal on the side, it's nice and spicy. The service is also excellent and the food was out really quick, a tightly run operation. dishes: sambal terung - 9/10. fantastic, lots of dried prawn ngoh hiang - 8/10, hot, sweet and extremely succulent. gets rather jelak after the first few bites though and also isn't as nice when no longer piping hot, be warned! otah - 10/10 extremely soft and delicate, strong coconut taste. not spicy but very flavourful nonetheless. ayam buah keluak - 7/10. soft chicken and tangy curry. chendol - 7/10. Good and reasonably priced at $4.50 for a small portion, but nothing mind-blowing. kuih (complimentary) - 10/10, so good.

One of the best Peranakan food that I have tried. The taste of every dish tasted well-balanced and fresh. Price may be on the high side but note that there wasn’t any service charge. Service was welcoming.

This restaurant came recommended in our Singapore guidebook and it deserved to be. We thoroughly enjoyed our first taste of Peranakan food and the staff were attentive and the service speedy. We shared a medium-sized Ayam buah keluak and we both had the blue pea rice. Delicious. If you're in Katong, eat here.
