This is so far the best ramen I ever had. The noodles are springy to perfection. Added $5 for a bowl of Butariki Niigata rice mini don. It was superb. I wish they had a bigger portion. The taste lingered in my mouth for a while and I'm still thinking about it. Will definitely come back to eat soon!
One of my top 3 favorite ramen institutions in Singapore, if not my favorite. Love the unami smoky flavor of the sardine broth, which is brought out in both the tsukemen and shoyu ramen. And one of the few ramen stores that serves quality sides, not just filler ones. Love the efficient service here too. My to go for ramen cravings.
Today was my first visit, I was quite skeptical about the price when I ordered the Agedasi tofu, seeing the portion size..however, the broth was really awesome, can tell that it was cooked for quite awhile..checked with the waiter..broth itself was boiled for approximately 30 mins..nonetheless the agedasi tofu was tasty!
NikumorI Rich Miso Ramen~ u come taste yourself..
I left after I licked my bowl clean..super satisfied~

if you want to enjoy a really good soup, then try it! the food was amazing, the service was really kind and helpful, the price is affordable and for everyone who want to try it for the first time, do it! it's delicious!!!!
Noodles are made fresh on the premises, lovely springy strands of goodness with great texture. The broth is amazing, has a sweetness to it which I found really delicious. Great prices too
Delicious meal as usual! Love the chewy texture of the noodle and the flavour has been consistently maintained. The only downside is the circulation of air is not as fantastic. The strong fragrance of the noodles does feel overwhelmed if you enjoy circulated fresh air while dining. Still a fantastic meal overall. Enjoyed.
One of the best ramen! Highly recommended! Went for the signature shoyu with extra egg and char Siu for $17. The noodle is springy and thick, the broth is amazing without being salty. The bamboo shoot which I usually don’t like was so good and soft it was almost like a good mushroom! Only down side is the broth is not enough I still had noodles and char siew left when the broth was all gone! :) place is small so prepare to queue at more popular hours.
Chasu that melts in your mouth and flavorful broth. The noodles are the thicker and broader kind which are chewy and does not get soggy easily. The fish smell is a tad strong for their Shoyu Ramen, for those who can be sensitive to it.
8/10
Although the portion is getting smaller (?Not sure if it's just me) ,but still be one of my most favorite ramen in Singapore. Great location at Holland v just 1 mins walk, friendly staffs and quick serving speed, highly Recommended!
I only do ramen reviews. I had Niigata Shoyu Ramen today at Sanpoutei Ramen in Singapore. It was one of the best bowls of shoyu ramen I have ever had. Just phenomenal. The highlight was the amazing broth. It was clean, complex, and wonderfully addictive. The niboshi/tori soup was just a delight and made me come to terms with the fact I have a lot to learn when it comes to a clean shoyu ramen. The noodles were also very nice, and it was great to watch them getting made on site. The toppings were well executed but I’ve never had a bowl like this where the foundation of noodles and soup stole the show so completely.
I also had a quick taste of the miso ramen as well. It was very good, but a mere mortal standing next to the Niigata shoyu. 🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜/5.
Apologies for the harsh downlighting photos, restaurants just love the downlighting.
If your city is lucky enough to have a Sanpoutei and you want to know what world class shoyu tastes like then get in early before the lines get too long.

I don't usually like tsukemen ramen but this place really proved me wrong. The dipping broth is really well balanced in flavor, I'm drooling thinking about it.
There's about 10 tables so expect a short wait if you go during peak hours
While the ramen is excellent like you would expect, the butadon is the sleeper hit with its perfectly grilled slices of pork and a raw egg yolk to mix in. It’s great with the creamy chicken and pork bone W soup (double soup, get it?).
This is located just outside and on top of Holland Village MRT.
Place gives you Japanese vibes.
Food is slightly pricier, but overall still decent.
Ordered the sardine tsukemen and was pleasantly surprised. You need to dip the noodles into the soup to enjoy it. And the soup can be rather rich and flavourful. They also give you some soup to top-up if needed.
The noodles are quite springy, which tastes like maggi Mee or instant noodles to be honest, but definitely better.
Egg is the runny type and bamboo shoot can hardly go wrong.
Overall love the 1 dish I tried, but not sure about the other dishes. Might come again but not so often
