This is the new restaurant that’s next to Sankranti, owned by the same person. It’s the vegetarian Andhra food place while Sankranti does non-vegetarian Andhra food as well. For those who don’t understand this, Andhra food comes from the state of Andhra Pradesh in India which is known for extremely spicy and super delicious food. They serve the full meals for lunch. However, they only serve ‘tiffins’ fir dinner which means snack foods like dosai, idlis, pooris, etc. This place combined with its non-vegetarian neighbor are the best Andhra food joints in Singapore hands down. Must try for sure especially during lunch hours if possible

Ordered onion roast dosa and specifically told the waiter to make it crispy but the dosa served to me was soggy. So, didnt lile the dosa much.
There were 4 chutneys
Tomato chutney was really good and unlike other tomato chutneys was not sweet.
Coconut chutney was fresh, another chutney which was made up of ginger was quite tasty and was sweet and tasted really good.
Ghee, podi and pickle was kept on all the tables and the samabar had a pure tamilnadu taste 🤤 🤤.

I am a regular visitor to other restaurants in the area and stumbled upon this place last week. since then have been here with friends a few times and everytime pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended for some looking to try a different style of South Indian food. MLA dosa, special meal and filter coffee must try.

Being an Indian Vegetarian leads you to finding Vegetarian restaurants in Little India. Having tasted the delicious Idlis at Murugan Idli Shop in the afternoon, we tried out this hotel for dinner. Frankly we were quite disappointed with the food. Most food items were needlessly spicy (chilli) and tasted baasi (old). Only the Dosa & Uttappam were OK. Even the drinking glasses were not clean. I would really not recommend this restaurant to anyone except if they haven’t been able to find a Indian Vegetarian option which is plenty on Syed Alwi street.

Very nice place.. excellent food.. Very authentic.
I have tried quite a few south Indian restaurants in Singapore. This one is definitely the best.
Usually only one or two items would be of good taste and quality. But here all the items that we ordered were very nice and tasty.
Very clean and spacious. Nice ambience. Calm and quite restaurant. I liked the pongal and masala tea very much.
The staff were very courteous but bit late in serving.

The food here is really good. Wide variety of north, south and Indian/Chinese fusion food.
However service is really slow and cleanliness is very very bad. Had to kill a baby cockroach on my table today. Hopefully the restaurant does a good spring cleaning soon.
