Review Dal In Korean Restaurant - Singapore

The food is decent, a little dry for my tastes, but at least it's flavourful. The soup/stew is better then expected though! Comes with a large assortment of side dishes, which honestly we have no idea why some of it was even there for. Overall a decent experience

First time trying. Iberico prok belly was good. My friends enjoyed the jokbal as they felt it needed no additional sauce or any spring onion to make it tasty. Potato banchan was nice!! Kimchi soup soso. Havent tried any beef for bbq yet, will go back to try and review again. Service staff would help you to cook. Overall pretty good experience

Just had dinner this evening.. whilst the food was alright (average quality and similar to restaurants around the same area), I thought the first service staff that served us was rather rude. We went with a family of 11 (3 kids included).. and not knowing the size of our order, we ordered about $300 worth of food initially. The waiter told us quite rudely,’ this is not enough, you only order $300.. for so many persons, you should be ordering $500-600. We explained to him that this is just our initial order and we will add more dishes later but he seemed very unhappy. At the end, we did include more dishes and alcohol and the bill did come to close to $600. We were prepared to spend that amount but the manner to which he said it to us when he first took our order really left a bad taste in our mouth.. We tried it once and we won’t be back.. lots of choices available.

The steam egg is super smooth and delicious. Been some time since I last patronized the restaurant, and I wanted to go again yesterday but sadly I couldn't find a parking lot despite going 2-3 rounds. 😔

The restaurant feels authentic. The menu has a decent variety. The service staff is fluent with English and Korean. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I love their BBQ set. Then again I have yet to try everything. One other plus point, the tables are clean, not oily like many other Korean restaurants that offer BBQ options in Singapore. 👍🏻 Oh, one more thing, the Korean pop music playing in the background is not overpoweringly loud. Super plus point for a crowd who meet and talk. 😊 <<T a N>>

Wow, terrible service. Terrible tofu stew. Everything else is just okay... Take note there is a min spend of $18 per pax no matter how small your appetite is even though their restaurant is empty. This is fair considering they serve refillable side dishes but it was not told to us beforehand, instead they rudely told us so only after our 1st dish came. Hence we had to order more than we could finish. Well then again, because of them, I had supper for my late night. Cheers.

Valuable Korea dishes with local taste! Love the 족발 (pork feet) and 짜장면 (black bean sauce noodles) the most! Seldom have such a local taste in Singapore. Enjoyed the refilling of the chicken soup as well, will be nicer if they can fill more sticky rice in the chicken like in Korea. But the side dishes can be improved, though those are free of charge.
