We came here to try the popiah mainly. We had the traditional, the sesame chicken and also the sweet Thai chicken. All of them very tasty, good quality food. The sweet Thai chicken seemed a little bit frozen inside, I assume some of the ingredients had not defrosted completely.
The service was ok, nothing spectacular. The people working here does not to lengths to do good service and smile and the like.
The price is very fair, the traditional popiah is 2.7sgd and the others were 3.9sgd.

Place is not so crowded. And the serving time is fast.
The taste of the traditional popiah is good.
Cost - $$
The souper combo sets have better deals
Soup + Popiah + Drink = 9$

I would come again for the popiahs, a nice twist from the traditional ones. I enjoyed it. Soup wise was just okay for me, could be hotter and thicker in texture. Staff could be friendlier to make the whole dinning experience from good to great.

Really amazing poh piah and pretty good soup.

Small eatery with amazingly fresh tasting ingredients. The ingredients in the “modern popiah” may resemble what you find in a western wrap, but generously wrapped in popiah skin. I had the Mexican fajita chicken wrap and it was delicious from the first bite. The soups are tasty and not starchy. This place outshines Soup Spoon in taste and quality.

Simple but good soups (much less ingredients than what you’d find at Soup Spoon). Really like their non traditional popiahs, aka. wraps in popiah skin. Slightly expensive (~$10) for a set meal, perfect portion for me but may not be filling for bigger eaters.

Asian version of Wraps especially for those who loves the traditional popiah skin. Sesame chicken was good! Soup wise.. Not bad. Cheap compared to wraps but if you think of it as popiah.. Then 4.50 is pretty steep.

The only place you can go to there is near by a station and serves popiah together with western soup. Don't be fooled by the word 'popiah'! They actually have thai chicken popiah as well as seafood popiah which is quite filling. Soup is pretty good and tastes homemade. Please support!

Soup was not bad. Popiah was bang average with the skin being way too thick. But what made the experience horrid was the music which was so loud I couldn't even hear the staff calling me to collect the food so recommend just get the soup and ready elsewhere.

Was considering having my next meal here...but sadly a rude staff and telling your potential customer off, does not make a good dinning experience

Just hanging around at Tanjong Pagar looking for food when I came across Soupstar and I can't believe it took me so long to discover this!! You basically combined two of my favourite foods - Western soups and Asian popiah (which I find lighter than a wrap because the skin is much thinner)!
Pleaseeee open it somewhere in Ang Mo Kio/Bishan/Novena!!!

Terrible service received from Simei outlet. Throw popiah onto the table then walk away, when I asked them to change the carrier that have sauces all over the handle.

This place surprised me. Love the sesame chicken popiah. Tasty. And the beef stew with the 3 grain rice is excellent. Keep up the high standards souperstar.

Just visited this place in the evening, place was rather compact, however service was relatively fast and since it was an open kitchen you do get to see your meals being prepared. The Soups and Popiahs are really awesome. For me i preferred the traditional flavored, while the sesame chicken was like more western. Overall : Price is reasonable, Service is good, Food is good !
Hope to see more outlets coming up! (Y)

The Chowder was okay but the Caeser Chicken Sandwich was absolutely soggy and drenched like it was prepared a day ago. Wet sandwich....

I love the soup.. Souperstarlicious and the staff are so friendly.

I used to like their food very much not only they have great service but delicious food. Until today, I ordered Hojicha latte without ice and I only got half of the cup. Absolutely gutted it’s not that I didn’t pay for my drink. I appreciate that I’ll get less when ask for no ice BUT HALF A CUP?!?!?! It’s ridiculous

It's nice and simple . Definitely worth a try . Guess not too many people notice this stall who is sandwich next to Japanese food and Wang coffee

Popiah and soup are good but serving the wrong food, wrong billing and wrong money change are their tradition.

The service is superrrrrr slow, we had to wait almost one hour to get a bowl of soup and popiah.

I visited the Tanjong Pagar outlet, and have always been a fan. The Popiahs and soup are of good quality and I really enjoyed eating them, however I was shocked to find a long strand of black hair nestled in the corner of my Popiah!!!! What's worse is that they got my soup order wrong (they gave me mushroom instead of clam chowder), and they gave me a small size when I paid for a medium. I am utterly disappointed, this incident made me not want to visit Souperstar again.

They forgotten to give me my salad for braised beef stew!!!!!🖓🖓
