Review Seoul Garden - Singapore

Even though marinated meat is never our favourite for BBQ, have to admit they have done it pretty well. Well deserved 4 stars! We had a regular set for 2 which was a reasonable $50. All the meats were good. The beef was tasty. Chicken was nicely marinated with 2 flavours. Lettuce was very refreshing. The brown rice was an interesting try (white rice still better if u ask me). The greatest pleasant surprise was we didn’t leave the dinner with the strong BBQ smell on ourselves. Will certainly come again to try other dishes (with a lot of lettuce).

Ramadan dinner with colleagues. Service and Portion is good. But slightly pricey on my opinion. Like their lamb and chicken.

It's so nice to finally be back at Seoul Garden. Not gonna lie there are tons of better Halal buffet options but Seoul Garden hits the spot. Honestly can never go wrong with Seoul Garden! Highly recommend :) Nice ambience, reasonable pricing and the food choices are just the right amount. Chose the premium option which includes Smoked Duck, Salmon, Lamb and Beef shabu shabu cuts, toman fish slices etc that is included in the premium and y'all just need to scan QR code given and the premium items will be delivered. Special shout-out to Bernard Tan (Sorry if wrong name given) for the excellent service. Very kind and helpful service. Come down here guys!!

Now that it's less busy & less packed, it's fun grilling your own dinner at Seoul Garden again!

I was indifferent to having Korean food today, but my SO wanted to try Seoul Garden, so I agreed. I'm so glad I did! The food was delicious and very satisfying! We'll be back for sure.

Calling ALL BBQ LOVERS! Due to COVID the usual buffet spread no longer have for self service but the food will be deliver to you. But alternatively you can choose 3 different set meal & it's worth the money spend!

Love Seoul garden spread of buffet items for grilling and for steamboat. Must try are their kimchi rice, fried midwings and definitely marinated beef for grilling. Yummz...

Choices of meat were plenty, add on 14$ for more premium items like the salmon, cheese scallop, free flow cheese and etc. The soup is abit on the bland side. I guess if you're looking for a halal kbbq, this will do. Its not exactly cheap but I'd say reasonable.

Went to the tampines outlet. At first only wanted the bbq but the cashier said the hotpot was compulsory at additional $3.99. Seoul garden should have included that into the buffet price no? First table we were at the grill not even working properly although turn to the maximum heat. Have been cooking chicken for the past 15mins and not even cooked at all yet. Food is horrible. Not fresh and majority have some weird taste. Beef tasted like rubber. Prawn super tiny and when cook, disintegrate into smaller pieces when trying to peel off the shell. Salmon 70% fats and scales still on it. French fries soggy af. Standard has really gone down the drain as compared to last time.

Poor service . Asked to change the black tray for bbq . As it was dirty so we call the staff to change it the staff just slam the tray and show us hooligan attitude as we owed them . Is that how your staff treat customer ?

The revamped marina square outlet is really good. Attentive and helpful staff who suggested for us to take the quality cuts set for $5 which was really good and worth it! The new grill doesnt make my hair and clothes smell which is a plus point!

Hi, I am regular customer of Seoul Garden in Northpoint. Tonight my Wife very upset over your restaurant manager - if there is a mistakes commit just apology no big deal, never offend any customers if you not happy I can refund you ! Is this the correct way to treat customers. I know he is a philippno, cashier also philippno tonight, never mislead or promise customers this have tonight, especially we asked before come in and before we pay, eventually we start in your buffet lines :- don't have this don't have that, that, that !!! What going on ?? We do feel cheated, without consume anything, straight away your restaurant manager if you not happy, I refund you. Is he the boss, correct to run your restaurants ? Best part ! Not happy go HQ and complaint, I the restaurant manager. After we have collect our cash without even consume anything, I told myself this is my last times in Seoul Garden. For your I also run F&B group and is Public Listing, I command more than 500 staffs in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. I would say good luck to you to have such this good restaurant manager in your group Jason

I was at the Jurong Point branch. Deal breaker for me were the dirty plates, bowls, cups and mugs. I completely lost my confidence in the overall hygiene of the restaurant and food prep and didn't dare eat anything that I didn't cook myself at the table. Pretty much every single dish/cup that I picked up (and I kept trying to look for clean ones) were stained, felt gritty or oily, and just generally not cleaned properly. The worst was turning over to look at the bottom of each plate, which were clearly not wiped/cleaned AT ALL with very prominent sauces and stains. I asked a waiter whether their dishes were washed by hand or through machine dishwasher. I was told by hand. In which case the workers only washed the top side of the plate and not the underside. I can't attach photos here to show the colour of the wet wipes I used on the dishes and cups. Thoroughly disgusting and really does not deserve their A hygiene rating. They have lost me as a customer on that alone. Food overall was over seasoned and flavoured. Soup base were very salty in general. Plenty of other options when I want steamboat/BBQ at that price range.

Having dinner bnw buffet at Seoul Garden Northpoint with my family and we took only 3 pieces of sliced beef. Kept waiting for it to be replenished but there was no more beef selection. Asked the staff and was told that the beef supply had finished. While the staff was apologetic, I cannot understand how we can pay $30+ per person for a buffet and barely into the buffet, there is no more of a certain food that we came for. With such unpredictability of food supply for a buffet, I don't think I will visit this buffet again.

Visited marina square outlet with 4 friends for afternoon buffet. Terrible service. The staff here take their own sweet time to serve. Ask for extra "tong" and was rejected. This is the first time I got rejected when I ask politely. Food variety was limited and definitely not worth the pricing. I will definitely not come back to this outlet and might even not visit seoul garden anymore. For this pricing with such customer service, there are better alterative elsewhere.

If you want to diet or lose your appetite, come to the JP branch. Came here before but the food quality recently has dropped so much, the only decent stuff are like the fruits and icecream. Totally understaffed. Expect to clear your own plates or walk to the counter to request for refill of your soup. Staff looked so down, but I guess I can understand the sorrow on their faces when the food taste like this.

Just came back from Marina Square outlet and unfortunately ended a good lunch on a bad note. I love your food and delicious buffet spread. Its unfortunate that some of your staff has horrible attitude. We had requested one of your staff to change our grill and the young Chinese boy answered in a rude tone that he'd do it after he finished cleaning up a table. Once he cleared the other table, he walked away and never came back. We waved at him but he obviously turned away and ignored us and gave service to a number of other tables. We waited patiently for another 10 mins thinking he'd come back before giving up and calling over another staff member. A nice kind bespectacled Chinese lady came rushing to our aid. That was the first incident. The second incident was while I was walking back to my table with dessert plate in hand. The same rude staff was sweeping the floor and since there was sufficient space, I walked behind him. He elbowed me. I initially thought it was an accident but then he turned around and chased my feet with his itchy dirty broom. When I turned around, he had run off. I noticed then that it was the same staff who was rude to my table earlier. His name is Josh.

Called in to make a reservation 10 days in advance. Went to Tamp Mall outlet on 9/6/18 1845hrs, reach on time but was told no reservation was made. And had to put me on waiting list. Pretty much wasnt fair because its during the fasting month and on a weekend, so everywhere is full. Only got a seat 35 mins later. And table wasnt properly cleaned, did not switch on the grill&soup(not sure if now youre suppose to on it yourself?). So we had to wait another +- 10-15 mins for the grill&soup to heat up. Premium wasnt worth it, the normal buffet spread tasted better thn premium. Its better to call in 2-3 days to check again on your reservation, just incase if they dont have your reservation and the place is full, you can plan to dine in somewhere else.

What happened to you guys. Everything sucked. Your restaurants used to be the bomb now they’ve literally bombed. So disappointed

Hi Seoul garden, if you are interested in running a food business, please at least get the basic pest control done well. Your jurong point branch Seoul garden buffet have flys flying around the food area and the table. Spend half my time chasing away the flies. Terrible experience. This is the second time it has happened.

We went to Tampines Mall outlet to have a birthday celebration. The place is nice. The food is good. However, the cleanliness of the utensil, cups and plates need to clean properly. The stains look disgusting. The staffs are HORRIBLY unfriendly at all!

If you don’t mind losing your appetite and throw away your money. You can try and eat their Army stew hotpot. *facepalm*
