Very good, authentic food as we know it from Beijing. Strongly seasoned, not oily. Szechuan pepper is also used skilfully. Excellent quality, nice staff and cozy furnishings. Right in the middle of Chinatown but somewhat hidden. It's the best chinese restaurant I have ever tested here in this area and in this price range. The average price is around SGD 12 per dish - 6 dishes we ordered, SGD 70 we paid. We definitely come back soon!
Very nice restaurant in the heart of Singapore Chinatown.
Delicious food, very good atmosphere, exceptionally nice staff!!!
Also good prices
Reasonably priced, food is tasty. Service is good.
The restaurant is very popular in China and we assume it’s good here in Singapore too, but it’s actually a bit disappointing. Food is too greasy, especially the signature chicken, very unsavoury though it looks good. And porks are not very fresh honestly. The interior decor and atmosphere are good, the owner and waitress are very nice people too. But the food is the key thing to define the experience, I don’t think we’ll ever come back.
Chinese beer was great and light. We order pork fried rice and some vegetables. All food taste great. Fried peanuts is not free.
Not all servers understand English very well.
Interior is good with ancient Chinese decorations. Feels like having meals in China.
Great food for a reasonable price. Big portions for sharing. Mostly locals. Very friendly and helpful! Next time in town will return 100%.
Interesting decor with Chinese traditional weapons and bamboo tables. Clean. Food is above average, though a bit salty (northern style).
