Good place to have Veg Indian food in Singapore.. specially noth Indian.
We had ordered chaat that was really great.
Also we tried north Indian meal that was good. Just one flaw is that the spices are a bit high in the food otherwise its a restaurant with 5star review.
Must visit if you are missing Indian Vegetarian food in Singapore..
The restaurant offers stupendous spread of north indian and south indian dishes. I visited this restaurant twice for dinner and lunch during my stay in Singapore.
I tried their masala dosa and thali which were cooked with indian spices, reminded me of my homeland. Also, I didn't find prices to be very high as compared to other nearby restaurants.
My rating for food is 5/5.
The restaurant was very clean and staff was very courteous.
Highly Recommended!!
Keep up the good work guys!!
An Indian restaurant in Singapore..which is way better than a lot of restaurants actually located in India. Both the North and South Indian dishes are marvellous..you have to just keep coming back for more.❤
The food was great and really liked the Balaji Special Dosa. The only issue I found was the place was a bit small to accommodate multiple large groups of people (5+).
Have tried their dosas and borth indian thali. Both are satisfying and good on quantity. This was my daily place to go when I visited singapore last month.
Great dining place for Indian Vegetarians in Singapore. Located just outside Mustafa Market. Great food and lots of items to choose from. Try this place for sure.
This place can offer great Food, service, ambience, value for money. It's a great place for some yummy food when you are away from home. Brilliant
Went here for dinner on my first day here. Crowded and getting service took a few minutes. But the food was great. Had chapati with dal makhni. Try it out if you want to have north Indian food
When in Singapore, do visit Balaji restaurant. We had 2 times meal experience.
We had ordered south indian dishes and it was quite tasty.
Ambience is ok, staff is friendly.
Charges are quite reasonable, that why we had two times meal in our 5 days journey.
So make sure to visit this place.
Balaji Bhawan in Singapore is a nice restaurant with quality food. The ambiance is calm and soothing. Hospitality is another remarkable thing here. The staff is very attentive.
Must visit place for all vegetarians.
The best thing I like about this Restaurant is that I get same authentic Taste of India, my favorite is, Raj Kachori, Channa Bahtura, and North Indain Thali.
Had good Indian food with proper taste. They served faster and nicely even with crowd.
Platters were better. Must try this place at Singapore Little India area.
The ambience is nice.. The food is simply amazing one of the finest Indian food ever at outside India.. The Tandoori Platter is sufficient for a single person .. Must Try one in Singapore..
The staff here is nice & Courteous with happy to help attitude...
The price is also fair..
loved this place...food was damn tasty..... everyone should visit this place for Indian food... staff was very polite and service was very good
We went there twice and tried dosa and platters. North indian thali and tandoori panir thali both were good. Dosa was tasty enough. Good service and very reasonable comparatively.
We stayed in Singapore, very close to this place. Our everyday dinner was at this place.
My daughter loved the south indian meals, everything given tasted well.
We also ordered roti, dhal, and other stuff tasted really good.
If you are in Singapore and looking for pure veg restaurant this is one.
Wide variety of food served fast. Food is good and nicely flavored. Best to go for Indian food in an Indian restaurant! Thali was value for money. The ambience is average at best but the food makes up for it. The desserts were good, jalebi and rabri in particular. Their falooda interpretation is very different, avoid if you are looking for the Bombay style ones.
Good choice for south indian and north india food. We tried few north indian items.
To begin with we had
MUSHROOM BABY CORN CHILLY
as starters. Loved it and would rate it 5/5.
For main course we ordered 2 different types of cuisine, first one being an indo chinese variety of noodle
GINGER GARLIC CHILLY CHOWMEIN
Which was an average dish, did not have the punch of flavour as in the name of the item but it was still a value to money item. Rating : 4/5
And the second item is
PANEER KADAI paired with GARLIC NAAN and BUTTER ROTI.
The breads were again average but paneer kadai was awesome. Ratings:
Paneer Kadai - 5/5
Bread - 4/5.
To end the meal we ordered,
RASMALAI
as a desert. Though iam not a sweet lover i really enjoyed these cold rose flavoured thick ras malais. Rating- 5/5
The overall experience was great,as we visited late at night( around 10.30 PM),the staffs were all attentive and all the items were also freshly available.
Service : 4.5/5
Ambience: 4/5
Overall experience: 4.5/5
Been here for a while but discovered this gem pretty late! Very nice spread of Indian cuisine, delivered freah to your table!
The jalebis were lip-smacking, so were the Samosas! We also tried Bedmi poori combo and Pav bhaji that were delicious too. Have been getting delivery from here and have tried their Daal Baati, meal combos, Tandoori Momos, vada pav - everything just superb 👌
Service is great. Fast and efficient. Plus the shop is very clean and tidy. Food tasted good too, although I'm no expert on Indian cooking. But locals appear to like it.
Gone 1st time to this place yesterday, really happy with the food. Ate gujrati thali and tandoori platter, both were very nice.Took khandvi parcel which was very authentic and motichor laddu parcel, fresh even after 1 day. Found the laddu better than another North indian sweet place that I frequently go to but a little costlier than them.Overall very satisfied, will visit again.
Got home delivery today from here. The big issue was that delivery took about 2.5 hrs (affected by rains also), but best you cater for the time delays.
The desserts of balushai, milk cake and kaju katli were great. Loved the khandvi, dahi vada and daal baati churma. The thali was not bad as well. Pyaz kachori was fantastic. The Indian Chinese was quite spicy and oily, but tasty none the less. The masala dosas were not bad and the sambar was different from some of the other restaurants so overall good
Best vegetarian restaurant in SG. This is my frequent visit place. Whenever I visit Mustafa or nearby areas, I never miss paying a visit to Balaji. Their jalebi is outstanding. When we order food from here, jalebi is a constant. Other than this, daal makhani and kadhai paneer are also equally brilliant. I have not tried everything on the menu, so till now, these are my favorites.
