Good service and attentive staff. Had the lunch set ($9.90++) but my beef rendang was served cold and it was ok. Their belachan and belinjal crackers ($2.50++) are wicked tasty and very spicy, highlight of the meal. View of the sea and they have big space to host many people.

The food and service are excellent. Everything that my friends and I ordered was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. This place also has a nice outdoor dining area. The only downside, depending on what kind of experience you want, is that alcohol is not available (at least this was the case in October of last year).

In a nice cosy 4th floor in a big Civil Service complex. Excellent Indonesian food. Excellent local drinks. Best is Gurame Fish. So crispy that one can chew on the Fish bone. The chiili is excellent too. Air conditioning is good.

Food and service lousy. Anyway, cannot blame the staff cos also lousy management. Staff never got their salary on time and always been told next month and that next month will never come. Even those left or resigned cannot smell the salary at all.

Location was great but services was slow. Wrong drinks being served. They did not serve us correct food. So disappoint ! Think Changi Village Hawker Centre would have better food.

Celebrated Mother's Day lunch despite the recent review of poor service and food a few days before our visit. Food quality was average for the prices but beef dishes were a disappointment especially after the beef rendangs' reputation. Also for the smashed beef with green chilli dip - the 6 of us struggled thru as it was dry not crispy and tender. The sambal prawns with petai was below average as the beans were still too 'young' and dish needed more fire. Our choice of a non-spicy veg dish; the oyster sauce kailan was abit too salty to finish as well. Ayam soto was loved by our 2 children, satay was equally tasty.
Service was good and the sambal was amazing. Will return to try other dishes.

Had a wonderful time celebrating my Son Birthday with the whole Family & relative. The owner, Madam Chan was kind and great service provided by the staff.... definitely will be back for my Daughter birthday celebration... Well done Pondok Gurame & Team...

1. Half of the food trays were empty just before iftar starts at 7.10pm
2. Same situation at 7.30pm
3. Initial empty trays topped up but the other half are now empty at.7.45pm
4. All food trays topped up with different set of food at 8.15pm when 3/4 of the iftar crowd has left
Conclusion: Money and time not well spent.

Food was tasty. However it seem undermanned. We waited for at least 30mins for our food. Rice refills were not forth coming and complimentary dessert took a long time coming. would be perfect if service was prompt.

Utterly disappointed. Food was not replenished. A full spectrum then came when 80% of patrons have left, which is at 8pm. Not worth the price you'll be paying. Highly NOT recommended.

I love the ambiance of its cozy place. The food is delicious especially Tahu Telor, Sate Ayam & Tauge Ikan Asin. I really like their Sari Alpokat, a must try! The staff are friendly & reliable.
