My second time to this place . Yummy food and good service
Great food and service staff is super friendly. Definitely will go back for more :)
Excellent food and Excellent Service!!!! Many Thanks to Ms Anna for the great Hospitality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have been regulars for years. Love everything , especially the eggplant with floss and the drinks
This is an old establishment with great hospitality! We would order in advance dishes that are popular to avoid disappointment. You can also byo any liquor to the restaurant. The char siew is a must to order! Juicy and roast to perfection. Batin fish can be steamed hong kong style or with ginger. My personal favourite is with ginger, although you can taste the sweetness of the fish more with hong kong style steaming. Crab beehoon is also a must!!!! Delish! My friends would also always order the claypot pork liver! Thick slices of liver with ginger and onions! A not to miss for me is also the red bean paste pancake!
You will definitely go back for more! Oh! Don't forget to bring back a few tins of fish cracker!!!! Such good snacks at home!
Food is pretty delicious and fish is fresh. I like the pig liver that is cooked to the right texture, soft and not hard. Didn't quite like the KL styled hokkien mee though. Overall, an enjoyable meal and will visit again.
I was invited to dine there by a friend. To my surprise, the food is really delicious and reasonably priced. I have been missing out the good food in the west of the island. I have only tried a few dishes… and there are plenty to choose from. Service is friendly and excellent. Will go back for more one day.
Great food at a very comfortable setting found like a hidden gem in Farrer neighborhood. Love the KL Hokkien mee that’s full of wok hee. Kids love the char siew. The friendly staff made the family dinner even more enjoyable. Will come back again.
Really good food — reminds me so much of KL! The KL Hokkien Mee was really good. The tofu was very well done, super delish. Service was very friendly and attentive as well. Would totally recommend.
One thing I must say, they serve the best fried hokkien mee KL version (aka Dai Luk Mee). Although their price is at the high side but I feel this is worth it. Other than that, their char siew is good but is less a little of CHAR, I think it call Char Siew for a reason but The taste is good and the meat is soft and tender, good match of fat and meat.
Their other dishes I feel is normal only. Especially their chinese wine chicken, the wine is not flavourful enough, not enough ginger. Quite plain for me as Im a hakka boy and eat this since I know how to eat. So I know what is a good one.
Food is tasty, nice ambience. Surprised to discover a good makan place in a neighbourhood. If you miss or love KL hokkien Mee, you must come and try. Their appetiser sweet/sour mango.. Nice!!
