I came to know about this place many years ago and the food was fantastic. This time round, it still is. The grass fed burger and fries were well executed. The fries are cut from a potato. The beef was moist and tender. The coffee bean was robust and strong. I also had apple crumble pie which was very organic in flavor.
However what put me off, was the attitude of some of the staff. It must be the way we dressed as compared to the other patrons. I asked for a table of 4 and was asked to wait outside. However we were not ushered in even though there was a table available. And when we went in again, there was silence till I asked the staff on the situation. Almost waited for an hour in this fashion. Wont be coming back for a while.

Ordered the English breakfast and it was thoroughly disappointing. Everything was unsalted. The bacon was the wrong type to be cooked crispy so it felt like I was eating jerky. Scrambled eggs were just a tad over cooked so it wasn’t slightly runny. They used a fancy butter but the butter just didn’t taste nice. The sausage was boring, I’ve had better packaged sausages bought from supermarket. Oh, and food wasn’t hot on arrival so by the time I buttered my toast, everything was cold, which made the food even less tasty. No where near worth $24.50++. And they charge for water, per head.
Only things stopping this from being a 1 star is the pleasant environment and the service was prompt.
Sorry, cut off 1/3 of the egg before I took the photo.
Edit: Decided to give this an edit to acknowledge the restaurant’s reply. Good to know someone’s “listening”.

Decent food, great for a quick munch or meet-ups over coffee. Menu is concise, dessert is good.
Ambience is calming and boasts a rustic feel. It's a nice place in a convenient location.
Would recommend any of the mains, Lobster Mac & Cheese, and desserts.

I think the food is quite overpriced for the quality honestly. Portion wise is big enough to fill you to the brim. I think for the price, service could be a little better? Felt like many of the staffs are relatively new/ they are part timers. Did not automatically refill water, clear plates etc. My friend was supposed to surprise me with the waiter bringing out the bday cake but the waiters have to be reminded like 2 - 3 times till I kinda found out?

Bustling on a Sunday tea time. Came in to get our caffeine fix. Mochaccino was nicer than the cappuccino, pastries - sweet and beautiful Mont Blanc, rich chocolate raspberry tart. Our friends had chardonnay and pinot noir. All nice, prices on the high side...

Great location in the middle of Raffles Place. Warm and cosy. The ambiance can be a little noisy if you want to have a coronationm I need to lean in to hear what the person was saying. The food looks good on camera📷. However, for me I did not like it. Firstly the hot chocolate (with vanilla bean) was horrible for me. I did not even finish a hot chocolate for the first time. The fries was pretty plan, the mayo sauce did add some flavour, while the chilli sauce was 👎. The latte was 👍. Overall good location by the drink was a turn off for me. Who know you might like it. Do check them out.

We went around lunch and had some waiting. Once we got our table, the coffee was delicious but the vegetarian food was OK-ok. I ordered a grilled veggie sandwich with sour dough and it really wasn't appetizing. The saving grace were their slow pressed juices - pineapple, blueberry and mint

Nice place. U can drink and eat in the theater.
However, the price of food is really high.

Not sure why this place has low score as I actually kinda like it. A bit pricey but it has lots of breakfast and brunch selections..and I think the foods tasted good. Went there 3 times and bought a cup of to go coffee on my third visit. Too bad i wasn’t allowed to have my coffee inside :(

Love the place, very cozy and their service was good.

The hot chocolate was good, although is quite expensive for $6.50

Not much variety when i was there, there is no hot food such as sausage roll nor quiches (maybe i came to early for hot food). They offer 3 kids menu, hence we ordered bolognese spaghetti and taste yumm.

The buns and cake also not bad.

Ok to try

It looked like a fancy place to get a takeaway sandwich, but for $8.50 I got a small piece of baguette with chicken, avocado and a bland chipotle mayo. There was a ham and cheese sandwich for the same price that was bigger, though. Apparently sandwiches are generally surprisingly expensive in Singapore but this one really seemed pointless when you can get full food court meals for less.
