Love the food and pan cake! Tasted a lot better then over rated pan cake shop and pasta shops around.. food is tasty and flavourful. Waiters seems to be short handed but maintain good customer relationship. Highly recommend to try!

We ordered 2 main dish, 2 dessert and 3 drinks for our lunch. It was a Monday and there were 2 customers in the queue. Service was fast without any issue. The Omi rice and chicken was delicious. The soft shell crab spaghetti was yummy..though the salmon meat were a bit fishy. The crepe was rather hard as it was removed from the fridge. The matcha souffle was a bit dry but the ice cream managed to soften it. All in all, the dessert goes well with the drinks. The bill was reasonable as it was located in the city area. Can go back again to try other dishes.

Ordered the chicken katsu sandwich and the omu soufflé rice. While the rice was okay, they served very very little rice and the soufflé egg wasn’t worth the hype. The chicken katsu meat was full of tendons and the bread was stale. The lobster bisque ordered was as a side for $2 but the small size is ridiculous, it took me three gulps to finish it.

They were out of soufflés today. The carbonara and lobster bisque were a tad salty. The curry rice and curry pot rice dishes were better. We enjoyed the fruit tea. There is a high pitch noise at the entrance which can be heard only by youngsters and was a bit irritating.

Disappointing. I had trouble eating half of my dish. I had the chicken cutlet sandwich, it was nasty, full of fat and there's was a mayonnaise all over it. The fries were oily and tasteless.
The omu souffle curry rice was foamy and bland.
ON TOP OF THAT THEY CHARGE FOR ICE WATER. That's unacceptable.

Aglio soft shell crab sauce was not oily
Ikura & Mentaiko gravy was very nice with egg yolk blend well.
Chicken karaage too much flour meat was small piece inside
Matcha soufflé egg does not taste nice because too much egg added when blend with matcha is taste like kaya
Snow Pancake was the worst pancake I had it was not soft on outer layer and inside was hard it take more like butter cake
Ice Matach too much ice

Excellent food and atmosphere. One of the waiter name Lister was helpful and has a great sense of humour.
The soup curry chicken taste 8/10, portion size can be improved.
The ikuro and mentaiko salmon 8/10, taste excellent but the salmon meat is dry and hard.

Hoshino Coffee is a famous, and popular chain from Japan that boasts souffle pancakes and their hand crafted coffee. We came here today for the pancakes as we loved them in Japan, and decided to try out a coffee also; for the coffee experience, but mostly because it made our pancake half price (good deal!)

The pancake was was very soft, and the toppings of strawberry and creams came together well. For me personally, it tasted like any other pancake, however to Emily they were delicious and as good as Japan. The coffee was also good, with a very nice after taste, something different to most I have had.

If you like Souffle pancakes, it is worth trying out!

Food: 4/5
Service: 3.5/5
Ambience: 4.5/5
Value: 3.5/5

Overall: 4/5

Squeezed in the jungle of eateries and mass humanity during peak times at B3 Ion is Hoshino Coffee shop. It is more of a cafe, I would say

Highly recommended to try their special blended Japanese coffee and some desserts. Japanese desserts are not too sweet, which is the case here, too.

My other favorite meal is their beef curry. Must try
Lovely beef-based dishes and authentic green tea and latte in a classic English-style setting with elegant wooden interiors! Hoshino offers more than coffee, so if you’re on the lookout for a cozy little place to have lunch or dinner at, give this cafe slash restaurant a go. This one is strategically located at the heart of ION Orchard, making it suitable for a bit of coffee break.

www.cappuccinowithjules.com

Hoshino Coffee is a Japanese Western fusion style of café / restaurant. Specialized in hand-dripped coffee with a premium quality coffee beans. The restaurant offers a varied Japanese Western fusion menu such as spaghetti, rice dishes, French toast and soufflé. They have a nice cubical space for 1 – 2 pax, so you can have a privacy while enjoying your lunch/dinner or coffee. Tried the Hoshino Blend (SGD 6) – Coffee is not strong, bit acidic and has a balance taste of bitter and sweet, overall good. Love the roasted nuts taste. Happy that they have just opened their 1st outlet in Jakarta, Indonesia. Congrats!

I am so disappointed with food and service. I ordered angus beef steak plate and I got overcooked and so thin beef. Instead of angus steak, it tastes like beef teriyaki :-| the staff didn't even bother to ask how I'd like my steak cooked.

In addition, the clam chowder which supposed to be an appetizer, in fact it served so late even after the main course. I also disappointed with clam chowder. It is just a pathetic cream with 5 very tiny clam inside. Enough said!

Been here before and back for some souffle pancakes. Was wondering what's up with the low rating, can see why.

Hoshino blend-my god, it's very acidic

Porcini Doria-my first time trying a doria, is it supposed to be like an undercooked souffle? The rice and foam ratio made me feel like eating a bowl of foam.

Souffle Pancake with strawberry-the thing i came back for, im guessing they change flavors every season, had apples previously. Some part was eggy, but it's pretty good

Service 3/5
Ambiance 4/5
F&B 3/5
