Review Bao Today - Singapore

Given that most restaurants in malls either charge ridiculous prices or serve mostly average taste good, this place seems to be slightly different from the start. A plate of dry instant noodles with half a luncheon meat, vegetables and egg cost $4.80. The taste is good, nothing great but above average. The fried carrot cake is good. Tasty, crunchy and chewy. It’s worth it, with big portion. The lor mai kai is excellent and a great way to fill up the stomach.

The dim sum is ok. Some are more like industrial frozen food and recooked eg the wan tan. Overall is decent although for the same price there are much better stalls out there. Staff are friendly.

Food is not bad. Not too crowded. Only issue is dun order the plum soup drink because it taste quite fake.

The char siew is delicious but the noodle tasted a little soggy. If you want fuss-free dining, here is the place.

Price wise it is slightly expensive compared to your normal food court offering but the food is good and portion is decent. Here you can have noodles, rice and porridge all under the same roof and some dim sum as well.

We do Come here quite often. A good selection but come towards 8 and most of the stuff would be sold out. Food ya relatively fresh. Reccomend lotus rice , carrot cake and fried dumpling.

We went for the buffet today (Rendezvous Hotel Outlet). The food is relatively good. BUT i got to say there's more to improve in terms of service. The buffet dishes was served straight from the kitchen, so the waitress would have to go table by table to serve the dishes. We were missed on quite a few occasions and i had to walk to the waitress to ask for one of the dishes that was missed. We didn't know that the dishes were only served once or twice so we actually asked for 2 servings/dish. There were occasions that there's no more 'second servings'. So in the end, the buffet isn't value for money at all. Perhaps, if you are considering to go for the buffet, try to go in big groups or order slightly more in terms of quantity. 4/6/2016 Receipt #135875-1

We're HUGE fans of the Marina Square outlet. The service is great and the food even better. They dish out the best curry chicken noodles ever, and we're also like their beef brisket noodles, XO Think Think Noodles and 水 金 包. Even their homemade barley is delicious

Visited Bao Today at Marina Square,27th February,2018,time at 19:34:57. First, the porridge which I ordered had this burnt smell, subsequently when we asked for the buns to be served, this male server,a Malaysian reluctantly put the order at the side of the table, without even clearing the dishes off,and when asked so, he unwillingly threw the chopsticks into the plates. If he is not happy,he should quit his job instead of showing every customer his bad attitude. There were not many customers around,so I see no reason why he could act so rude. Please look into the matter. There was this elder lady server, her attitude should be praised. Anyway, the feedback on your website does not work at all, please also look into it.

Food is not bad and service good. I made a reservation and they called on the actual day to confirm my reservation. Reading the bad reviews, I am skeptical thus I approached a young female staff to check on the menu. She lets me take a look at the items available and explained to me patiently on how the buffet works. Overall, me and my hubby enjoyed the meal.

Visited the bras basah branch last Sunday 02 Apr 2017 at 12pm for the wkend buffet, it was only a few crowd to our surprise. And we were told last order at 1.30pm. So only have 1hr & 30mins to less enjoy their buffet. 1)Then we order the shark fin dumpling then at 12.10pm,the staff will come and tell u "Sold Out". 2)when we order custard bao on piece on paper and submit, we waited 30mins. Then went to counter to ask, the staff will tell u your whole order is finished and you have to re-order again. The actual fact is we order but did not receive the dish at all after 30min wait and they tell us to re-order again. 3)when we want to check something, the staff will pretend never see u. Poor service and we have to pay 10% for this type of service. The waitress never smile and always pull long face wan. We never come back again after this. Not worth it. Something wrong inside management.

wanted to dine at the outlet at 313somerset last evening initially. My friend and I the two of us wanted to choose a bigger table but the waitress told us it's meant for 4 persons and showed us to a 2 persons table instead despite the restaurant was quite empty. Unless it's full house then we have nothing to say! I really love your food that was served in marina square outlet so I highly recommended to my this friend to try. But in the end what we've got is really bad service. We got up and walked out without even ordering.
