Bak Kut Teh (SGD $26) @ Legendary Bak Kut Teh. . Having established as their own brand since June 2011, this 3-generation family-run restaurant boasts exacting standards and good quality in their dishes. . Spiced with Sarawak peppercorn, the hearty broth is made by boiling pork back bones for hours,
The bak kut teh tastes excellent. It has a strong taste of garlic and pepper. The portion is very small but you can refill it for free~ However, the ribs are so dry. The long ribs are slightly better. add-ons are quick expensive but the taste is good ($6.5 for a very small size of veggies) Overall,
Ribs' meat is dry and the fritters is good. Soup is garlicky and peppery. Just give it a try if you happen to miss out one of the BKT place to go in your list.
Well they call Legendary for a reason! Like all comment said, is amaing and fresh pork everyday!
Wonderful place to taste the traditional pork rib soup. I like the variety of dishes they have on the menu. It is a very relaxing place to spend couple hours with friends and families. The pork rib is soft and fresh.
Tastes good, but prices for some add-ons (like peanuts and veggies) are unreasonably high. One other popular Bak Kut Teh chain nearby has a better offer in terms of portion size/value ratio.
The meat is soft and the soup is very good! Must try!
Mild peppery, Signapore version pepper soup which they considered it as Bak Kut Teh, very mild herbal taste. Could work on portion for the price they charge and it's lukewarm when food is served. Staffs are very nice and prompt - no need to signal and they will refill our soup.
