Serving only a few cakes and beverages, the Stuttgart Cafe here is a temporary premises for the German restaurant. The two times we were over the past 3 weeks, we came especially for their Black Forest cakes. Indeed, the Black Forest cake is worth a visit, even if the price is for a slice and not half or a whole cake! Interiors ambience is homely. We were the only customers for the 2 afternoons we were here. Great place to relax in with family or friends over cakes, coffee and tea. We were well attended by Rhode and Vincent during our separate visits.

Overall happy customers! Liked the forest ambience. We’ve ordered salad, bbq pulled chicken and salami and pepperoni pizza. Waiting Time and Service was overall okay we waited for 20 minutes to get all of our dishes. Pizza was last to be served. We’d say that pizza was awesome, thin crust just perfectly cooked and great size and amount of salami and pepperoni. Good for sharing... As for the BBQ pulled chicken - I thought it’s too savoury and very less carrots and potatoes in it. Worth the value and will come back again to try other dishes.

I’ve been to their old place near Bencoolen and they used to serve hot food like sausages and pork knuckle, now the menu has very limited options probably because of the pandemic hit. My friends and I were only here for afternoon tea fortunately and the service level was great. Hope they can have more food options in the future because I believe other people are also looking forward to that, and I’d love to come again for lunch and dinner.

The Black forest cake is the best I've tried - I've had some in Austria, Germany and the UK. At S$ 16/slice it's not cheap, but worth every bite. The shop was open only for cakes and drinks when we visited. The hot chocolate was also very good.

Very good German food. Love the salad and pork knuckles. The ink rice is interesting as well. This is a place to be to have a fun time with your friends and good for kids to run. Please Ensure you Keep you tummy for the best forest cake in town! You will not regret. Warning to those allergic to alcohol it’s heavy handed but very nicely done. For those whom like sweet drinks, their bottled fruit tea is nice to try.

Went during lunch time. Food was good. Loved the truffle fries! Roasted pork belly was good too. The skin was very crispy and meat was tender. Had the risotto as well. They have lunch sets for 12++ on weekdays. Only downside is that it took quite a while for the food to come. I would definitely come back again, probably for dinner instead of lunch!

The other reviews are great for a reason. I came here thinking that there's no way the food can live up to them, but it did and more! I had the pork knuckle and the Blackforest cake. The pork knuckle was flavourful and the cake was sublime. Perfectly roasted, and the portion size was just about nice for one adult man. The meat itself was juicy and the sauerkraut portion wasn't too much. The cake.. Oh my, good cake. I love cakes a lot, and many places fail at the Blackforest cake. This had juicy berries drenched in rum inside. Absolutely delightful dessert. The calories were well deserved. Spend about $45 for one pax. Ambience is good, though a little on the darker side. It's a cosy place. Short walk from several mrt stations, though parking will be a bit of a hassle (try the Cathay or PS). Highly Recommended!
