Fresh seafood and extremely tasty food at this nondescript coffee shop. If you happen to walk by this coffee shop, you will absolutely have no clue that they serve some really delicious grub. It is dirty and run down but it is part of the charm. There are no menus and don't expect to get good servi
This place is fairly well known because it was featured in an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s “A Cook’s Tour”, early in his career. He did also name it as one of the places to eat before you die, and he certainly did that quite a few times before his untimely death. Musings on celebrity chef demises
Food consider average. - squid nice - crab mee hoon- think the crab not fresh with the waiting time and price I paid for 3 dishes, not really worth
They always says," never judge the book by it's cover." This plain coffeeshop serve one of the best crab beehoon I have eaten. The crab is fresh and delicious and the beehoon has full of flavour. Paired with veg & otah, it completes the meal. Another must try, gong-gong with the spicy sauce, superb
Most expensive coffee shop Zhi Char in Singapore.... Actually most expensive.. Hawker .. and maybe seafood in Singapore... Even 5 star chinese restaurant.. Might not be so expensive. And you cannot decide what to order. The boss is also the waiter.. you cannot ask what . You can only order.. like

The owner and chef was there and he and his wife chatted with us and even gave us tips on how to coo
Came to this coffeeshop for the duck rice. I rate the duck rice 4/5. However, this review isn’t about the duck rice or the seafood as there isn’t any Google Maps listing for the coffeeshop itself. I rated 1 star because the drinks from the drink stall are super expensive for a coffeeshop. Teh Peng
There are some simple and ready dishes with very good taste. I also ordered curry fish head (S$40) which was nice and fresh. I don’t think it was a pricy place (I saw lots people complaint). The only disadvantage was the beverage here was not good.
